The thing I like about working in the early morning; the sky gets a really cool purple hue just before sunrise (whoa, freaky man!). I try to point that out to as many folks as possible, just to see the world in 'a different light' so to speak.

some good signs that society has not completly fallen to the way side: I am seeing more and more of the 'leave a penny, take a penny' containers at cashiers, even in big name dept. stores. It's the little things that matter...

to get out of this town, change is good. So off to Winnipeg, MB for the day (first time driving alone in the city, - known for 3 things - bad drivers, the title of Slurpee capitol of the world?? and the murder capitol of Canada...umm...yeah.

I saw my girlyfriend last night, for only a few minutes, but oh man, it was a great few minutes. I was able to see that beautiful smile of hers and she thanked me for the flowers (and cereal). And as she left, she told me to call her, even though I would not be done work until late (she was sleeping, but I left a message). Yeppers, it's a good day.

I am oh so proud of her, she makes everyone around her happy, sometimes even the grumpy ol' fusspots who refuse to let the better vibes in.

Hello to all,
I am 'dating' a girl with the most beautiful smile and eyes that have all the love in the world. I highlighted the word dating 'cause it seems like we are (and I like to think so, wee! that's the romantic kid at heart in me) as we hang out every couple of weeks and call each other every couple of days. (And the fact that my self-doubt seems to pay a visit now and then and sleeps on my couch - get out ya' moochin' freeloader!)
- as this girl is just so caring, funny, smart and beautiful (and a great mom! and I've told her this just 'cause and to remind her of the potential she has and what I see in her) and I wonder how could a scrawny (yet tall, ha), nerdy, funny lookin' kid like me could ever stand a chance, but...
we mustn't give in to the naysayers
what matters is the love YOU have
do what makes you happy in life, as long as your not hurting yourself or someone else along the way

I bought her flowers and her favorite cereal today (to cheer her up, she is sick...) but our pathes never crossed


oh well ("when will I see you again?")

as a friend, I love her, but dang, I am falling more and more for her each and everyday (sorry for swearing)

- actually, Mick was quoting another wrestler, the Sheik, whom he met a few years ago. The Sheik gave some insightful and humbling advice. He said he did not make alot as a wrestler in the 50's/60's/70's, but he was careful with what he did have. He bought a house, a car, raised a family and lived an honest life.

By the way, at the end of Mick Foley's 2nd book, Foley is Good, he says a statement that blew me away -
In Conclusion -
"Even musician Billy Corgan, who wrote me a long letter telling me that my career had somehow inspired him to make better music"
Wow!, a great way to end the book, 2 of my heroes crossing pathes, I am still beeming (6 years later) WEEEE!
