Sure you all caught the pre-gish box-set news, of which I'm very curious and excited about. With this and my 'collectors addiction' in mind, I really can't help to gently say the following: I think I already have a clue about the songs that will be in it. If someone noticed: a while ago I offered potential songs of the box-set through this website and through smasheville.com.

I'm very happy the Pumpkins will release these songs, because I think some songs tell a lot more about them than the hit type of songs.

For an 'educated' preview (prehear) of what I think will be included in the box you can always send me a message.

As you might know, I've been offering a huge amount of rare songs, demos and live stuff from the Pumpkins. That 'business' will have a short break, for I am making my way to China! On July 12th I will fly away from this small Holland country to some bigger place with a lot of people.

That means I won't be able to accept any song download requests till August 12th.

Sure y'all'd understand!

Well, this afternoon I was very busy completing my latest song list. This list I have now, includes all of the songs from Zeitgeist.

Is there a particular song you want to hear/download for FREE? Just name the number corresponding to the song on the list and contact me!

IMPORTANT: I will NOT offer songs that are still available, that would harm the Pumpkins of course.


For example:

472 tonight, tonight - in C
473 tonite, reprise starlight (vinyl)
474 to sheila (live)
475 to sheila (acoustic christmas)

If you want to hear/download 'tonite, reprise': too bad! That one is still available, so go buy it
If you want to hear/download 'to sheila (live)': perfectly ok! You need to send me a simple request for song #474! I'll put it online on the music player or somewhere else if you want a better quality. It's that easy!

For years I have been searching for and collecting rare, unknown and different versions of songs by the Pumpkins and Billy. The collecting went on and on and I managed to get a lot of very great songs which - in my opinion - very few people know. Now I have much more rarities than official songs. To get an idea: I have a total of over 500 songs, including albums, b-sides, live songs and rarities.

Because of this huge 'side track', the image I have of the Pumpkins got more complete, because I know almost all of their songs. The only thing was: WHY didn't the Pumpkins put out a gigantic box of rarities and demos???

Of course all of the singles have cool b-sides, but apart from that many more other songs remain untouched and that's not the idea of making music: music should be heard! I understand it's really impossible (is it?) for the band to put out everything they wrote, because only some freaks and people who need to see the depth of the Pumpkins would buy those cd's.

That's why I was very glad to see smasheville.com! My friend Michelle/GishGirl (check her profile) has pointed me to this cool website, which has a MUSIC PLAYER with not just 4 songs to upload like MySpace. It only took me a day to get the idea to put up as much rare Pumpkins/Billy stuff and demos as possible. And that's what I've been doing the past two days.

I've already made a selection of the most special songs/demos and they're all listenable now on my profile music player.

For all collecting Pumpkins fans, this is important: if you can't find a particular SP song, please contact me and i'll put the song in my profile music player or online, somewhere really downloadable!

I'll try to post my entire SP song archive list in a few days!
