check this sketchy thing out. the recent charlotte show had a "pit section" that NO ONE was told about and that NO ONE could buy tickets too (even the box office said there was NOT a pit section)...then...i'm not kidding here, i went up there and asked, "how do i get to get into the small pit up next to the stage?" and the guy laughs and says with a smerk..."ya gotta meet certain criteria"...and all of us in the first few rows behind the pit just sat back and watched people being taken up front at RANDOM to the front pit rows, leaving their original seats empty! these people were "good looking" model type couples and crap, and by the end, half of the pit was empty because the losers there were either thrown out of the venue by being too drunk and trying to get on stage (one dumbass made it on stage and freaked Billy a little), or they just left early because they clearly didn't like the show. it was TOTAL BS! the best fans were NOT in the pit, but the sluttiest and and the ones on the most drugs were. good job!

i agree though...if ya want to have writers for this site, how about have a member go to the shows and take notes, like i do anyway.

and what happened to the fact that we used to be able to make comments back in the homepage blog sections. what's the point for me to read these bog entries or member submitted articles, if i cannot even comment anymore and continue the discussion?

i emailed them (sp media militia) about a year ago about needed improvements to this site, like a way to better link up with other members (like a search for members near you or the show you are going to), and an overall better layout...they said they had all these great things planned for this site for 2008, and all they did so far is hire a handful of so-called "writers". ohh, and the picture changed on the front page. can't forget about that big one.

this site is still quite retro looking and VERY primitive...and for a major rock band in 2008 with a dedicated fan base, it's kinda embarassing with the lack of "improvements". i would do them myself for FREE dammit!
