I just reread your comment and saw that you meant the BWF *article* and not the book... Yes, the article is awful beyond belief. Even if I didn't think that BWF was utter crap, that article would have pissed me off.

is horrid. It wouldn't have been published if Billy Corgan wasn't already famous. I tend to hate that "style" of poetry anyway, but Blinking with Fists should get some kind of prize.

The ironic thing is that Zeitgeist immediately evoked Yeats in my mind, not Corgan's lyrical prowess, mind you, but the overall feel of the album.

I'm hesitant to post anything too scathing in response to any of the PMM articles because my application was rejected (although PMM scolded me for saying "rejected") and I'm afraid that it will come across as sour grapes... that said, hack's article today really pissed me off.
