I wasn't expecting much from the new album but i like most of the songs, i really dislike about three songs (especially Pomp & Circumstances) but the rest of the album works quite well.

I completely agree with your opinion of Zeitgiest, and likewise hope this is just the beginning. Yeah, they're not playing in my city either... or Country for that matter (small country)... although they're playing a Festival that's a few hours away, but it costs a LOT... but I'm still going hopefully

Its true what you said, all of us true pumpkins fans do seem to have a lot in comman. I don't think i have found another fan yet who doesnt like tool or NIN or a bit of radiohead. and there doesnt seem to be many "casual" fans who might just own the odd album and a single. We all seem to want to own every song, remix and cover that the pumpkins have ever done. I think thats because anyone who really listens to any pumpkins song will be left wanting more. I have met one person who thought Zwan were amazing but had no interest in the smashing pumpkins what so ever (strange). I think they are both great because as you know, they are!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just cannot get enough of Zeitgeist, i have been listening everyday and times of not listening, the songs are going through my head. United States and Neverlost have grown on me so much and the drums on Starz make me crazy. Do you think the Pumpkins will do any more touring in the new year, some Canadian dates would be a blessing. I am taking a chance and preparing to go to 2 concerts in the U.S., a little adventure. Are you going to any shows?

It'd be great if they came out with a follow up album, all acoustic, (didn't Jimmy say the band wrote 50 songs). I have mentioned this to a few people, so I may sound repetitive, yep!

That was the first season.
Indeed, her name was Queen Beryl (the original Japanese translation)... I was very impressed they retained her name. In the original, all the senshi die and it is their spirits that come to aid Usagi in defeating Beryl. I was really upset because in the dub they edited the crap out of it and made it into one episode, which is why it is confusing because it's supposed to be 2. Anyway, my thoughts on the english version can be heard any other time if you care to hear, lol. ( I am STILL obsessed with it. I own almost all the original series. If you still have any interest whatsoever in it still, go buy the original series online... it is MUCH better and much more mature like it was supposed to be.)

Anyway, I bought the original version of Zeitgeist(just the CD) and also the booklet one... xD Going to get all the others when I can. I really, really like it so far. My favorite has to be That's The Way (My love is) so far... pretty song.

I would come on here every day but I've been surprisingly busy lately. I like knowing that there are other people who enjoy the lyrics and overall feel of the band like I do, even if I don't personally know anyone on here. It just makes you feel less alone I guess.

yup! i get to finally see them...and i'm really excited! (i've never seen them before) so it'll be fun. it makes me kinda sad that the original band members aren't going to be there, but as long as billy's there, i'm all right.

My fav songs on Zeitgeist is United States and Bring the Light. The whole cd is good but those two songs are the ones I like the best. I also love the book that goes with
the cd. I coudln't ask for more. I hope the cd does real good in stores. I love it!

Yes. I have really enjoyed the latest release. I feel pretty lucky to have gotten the chance to see them play live in Asheville, and was blown away by Billy's ability to rock us out the way he did. Some people just have it, and fortunately he brought it all back! I hope you have the opportunity to see one of their shows too. Have a wonderful night...

So far I have to say I love Zeitgeist! I think my favorite songs so far are Starz, Tarantula, and Zeitgeist. I got the purple version from target. lol! What about you? Any thoughts?

yeah i'm waiting to be able to buy it. i'm sure i'll love it. i love how smashing pumpkins albums are all so different, especially since i love variety.
i heard them on dave letterman last night, i hadn't heard the song before but i really liked it, so i'm sure i'll like the rest of the album. i'm really excited!
