The gift is a "flexidisk" if I read this right correct? Now if I am not mistaken these are the flimsy '33 records....kinda a cool concept as I think the last one I remember ever seeing was one I got in a newspaper as a child w/ the McDonald's theme song (or something like that) on it....hopefully whatever they put on it is something fun / different...

Well I have already give all the information and accepted shipping here to Mexico and it says to me... Free Orders (order #) cannot be submitted to GC. What the hell is GC and why I can't get my LoL "Gift"?.

Yeah that's what it sounds like. The Pumpkins put out Daughter on a Flexi-disc. Although it's not new material, I would find a replica of the Daughter Flexi-disc as a pretty cool gift-Though I am not getting the gift since I didn't order from TopSpin but I'm just saying it would be cool. Of course we already have that song and it's not necessarily that. But it's not out of the realm of possibility considering that Pisces Iscariot's deluxe edition will include a replica of the original SP demo tape: http://www.discogs.c...release/1816701

To be honest I'm just happy they went thru with actually giving us something. Personally I don't feel like I was owed anything.

It should now work, I just got it to work. If it has an error message about "Email already exist" use a different email but use your original order number. Once it proceeds, you can use your original email address. I had this issue due to the site not loading properly or something..? It's fixed now..

I didn't realize this, but there was at least one other flexi-disc that a fellow SP fan mentioned elsewhere. Apparently there was an I Am One flexi-disc as well. They posted the link from SPfreaks, here it is: http://www.spfreaks....TAILS&item=1112

Of course, it could be a completely new flexi-disc, not a replica of an old one, but all interesting possibilities.

Any other ones made? For the longest time, I thought Daughter was the only one. I guess I should've known better.

What am I supposed to do if I don't still have my order number? I didn't keep my packing slip when the reissues arrived and have since cleaned out my email. I definitely qualify for the flexidisc, but I didn't know they were going to require that this far out.

Okay i got it to work

close all open browsers. and reload the order page. (NOTE you may have to type a fake email address or an alt address if you get the error the email address is already in use.. but don't worry a fake one won't matter)

Once you get to the order page everything should go smoothly. let me know if you have issues.

I'm glad for people and what not, but this is a little silly. I'm mean I'm sure they produced x amount of these. What happens if all don't get redeemed? Why not allow for a 24-72 hour window for non pre-order people to actually purchase it as well. It will still be a limited item of coolness, just those inconvienanced didn't have to spend a dime to get it. I wouldn't mind shelling out some dough for this (whatever it is). Seems like another lost SP business opportunity in my opinion. Oh well, I'm sure if I really want it I'll be able to find one on e-bay for a thousand dollars.

If you're not using IE7 & clicking on "order flexidisc" just gives you an empty black box that does absolutely nothing (other than say "Keep Shopping"), try the following:
- close the black box by clicking the [X]
- right click (ctl-click if on a mac w/ 1 mouse button) on the "order flexidisc" button & select 'Copy link location' or similar
- click on the URL bar & paste the link directly, & hit enter

That SHOULD load a new page w/ an SP heart, and then the black popup should work this time. Since the 2 pages are on different domains (labs.topspin.net vs spinshop.com), I'm guessing it's due to some kind of cross-site-scripting protection that chrome & firefox have, but IE doesn't (which is why it ONLY works in IE). In any case, their web dev team should be flogged for not ensuring this sort of thing works on all major browsers.

That said, since the link that takes you to the spinshop.com page to order the flexi is just that, a link (as opposed to a form post), I don't see how they're passing the order ID from the previous pages (it's not part of the link), unless it's stored in a separate area (hence the "Email already exist" errors if you try submitting the first page more than once)- in which case the email address entered on the first form DOES matter (at least somewhat)- I guess they'll be doing a lot of manual lookups in either case, though. -_-/>;

"They" must know how many flexidiscs are required (they kept a record of the pre-orderers orders - well, they should have done!) - and have already printed them - perhaps with a handful extra, 'just in case'... be interesting to see how long it takes to arrive, hopefully it'll arrive before PI goes on presale?!?!

And if this flexidisc basically becomes a general sale item and will be supplied to meet demand (and therefore generate £££ for whoever) it certainly ain't gonna be Limited Edition - not to my mind anyway.
