Really enjoyed the whole show, it was amazing to see the whole of Oceania LIVE, and then Space Oddity, and a mixture of hits and some favourites, like Luna - it was amazing to be singing along to it being played LIVE :happy:/>
One of the highlights:
also hoping there is a video of X.Y.U - Billy screaming... :drama:/>

I thought I saw you Marc, but it turned out to be another tall dude with long hair at an SP concert (shock!)

hell yeah - such a good performance, and similarly took me back to the MCIS tour (I saw in Wellington and was 21 :p/> )
I don't think anyone recorded Glissandra, the crowd were really getting into that, as well as some of the other Oceania songs, which was pretty cool to see.
I heard people commenting during the Oceania songs 'What is this?' and 'Play something we know!' :rolleyes:/>
Does anyone know if someone recorded the full audio of the show?

There were a couple of assholes standing right behind my friends and I, it might have been them. At one point near the start one of them shouted out "YOUR MOTHER'S DEAD!".

Some of this is to be expected, but I was actually quite surprised of how accepting the crowd was to the Oceania songs. Plus Billy sent out press releases in advance warning people what the set list would be like.

yeah it was just a few ignorant people who have only listened to the songs on the radio, and maybe have Siamese Dream or Mellon Collie in their CD collection. They just go to a show and expect the 'hits'. Oceania hasn't been that well promoted and NONE of the songs have been played on the radio (I asked Radio Hauraki - twice - and they said they'd have to check with their boss, and nothing happened :rolleyes:/> )

Actually I was at a bar that was playing the Rock before Oceania came out and it played a song for Oceania, I wasn't familiar with the album then so I don't know which song it was but it was definitely from Oceania.
And I don't really understand these people who complain about pumpkins shows because they want to see the hits, I've heard this since 2000 and I don't get it because THEY DO PLAY THE HITS, they always do at every show including this one. I guess maybe they want them to JUST play the hits and nothing else, have a half long concert with just the hits. Or maybe they only want to hear songs from Siamese Dream and Mellon Collie, none of the "new" stuff, (new: referring to anything as far back as Adore which came out 12 years ago)

I tried listening to The Rock the week before the show, but didn't hear any Oceania songs, ah well.

There's an excellent sounding recording of this show up on the archive.
