On the main homepage when you scroll down to preorder Oceania, click on the info tab, and on the right side under Amazon it says deluxe CD. Anyone have any info what this deluxe CD is with Amazon?

With that said, I pre-ordered from the SP site, to show my support (also since I'm in the US now, shipping isn't as rape as it was when i was in canada).

It's nothing BUT if you order the Japanese edition you obviously get a version with bonus tracks Lonely Is The Name, As Rome Burns and an extra picture disc with a 20 minute studio version of Gossamer

Someone please let me know if theres a special edition or limited edition release. Also, if the other poster was serious about the Japanese edition.

The Japanese one has James Iha's new solo album in the case instead.

There are two CD versions on Amazon.co.jp...but there doesn't seem to be a difference. The more expensive of the two has only 13 tracks.

Maybe the more expensive one is an imported version of the American edition of the album, while the cheaper one is the edition that is released locally in Japan. I haven't heard anything about Japan getting bonus tracks this time around and yes I know the bonuses listed earlier were a joke :p/>.

i think it's the other way around.
japanese releases are always very expensive. (that's why so many japanese releases get a bonus track. otherwise everyone in japan would be buying the imports.)

and yeah, there are no bonus tracks, anywhere.

i'm thinking maybe they called it "deluxe" when they found out it was going to be a digipack. but then changed it when they realised there was not going to be any other version.

I guess I just assumed since it was being released in Japan, the American one would be more expensive since it needs to be imported into Japan, while one distributed directly in Japan would be cheaper. My logic there is that I had thought that Japanese versions were more expensive in North America because they had to be brought over from Japan, so I thought a similar setup might be true for people purchasing an album imported from another country in Japan.

It's the remastered cd, the bonus cd, the dvd, and the cassette.
Best Buy's website has an accurate description. Billy said it would have all that in an interview I heard off of crestfallen.

i understand. but that logic doesn't work for japan. for some reason, their releases are very expensive.
