But still, Oceania was a very good album because Billy's songwriting is so excellent. Just not on par with any of 90's albums. Violet Rays might be the exception though. Sometimes I like it as much as something from MCIS.

I really enjoyed Billy's vocal delivery on Mary Star of the Sea, but I haven't since. On a song like Desire, it just sounded impressive. On Oceania, there's just not a lot that's charming or impressive about his voice. The closest we get is something like Inkless, where Billy is, at his best, attempting to sound like he did with MSotS.

yeah, desire is gorgeous. man, do i love that zwan record. it was like an infusion of summer in january...10 years ago! wow.

Was listening to it and was just wondering is all, still enjoying it at least.

Cant believe its been nearly a year. It feels like last week i sat down and listened to the itunes stream for the first time

I am too, it feels complete, somehow now. Like i have accepted it, sounds gay but thats how i feels.loads of songs have grown on me and made the album even more enjoyable, love it :happy:/>

Admittedly, I have only been using Google Play Music since about November, but Oceania is my most played album on there.
