more are coming. the levels are low, so you might need a good sound system to crank out the sound properly.
as I had said, my capture is a bit of a mess and attempts to correct some stuff only lead to more issues, and better is out there I am sure, so for now just sharing the raw junk I managed to get.

Aye it is, this is the rip from the DVD. Nearly finished converting all the songs individually to FLAC and uploading them to the channel too. I'll see if i can put the FLACs on LMA later tonight, i've spent about 3 hours doing this and i need a break :cheers:/>

Thank you for the info <3/> , i've added it to the downloads. I think i'll keep this version up for now, even if the FM is better quality this is still more complete.
Unless people want the FM version up too...

They messed up the start of the live stream (briefly no audio, and like you say they didn't join the concert until a few seconds into Zero), so you're not missing out anything in that respect.

For some reason it's kept the 3 first tracks i uploaded on the page even though i've deleted them from the root. I renamed and re-uploaded them to the etree norm. Hopefully the page will update soon without them. But anyway, FLAC rips are now available for download. Enjoy :)/>
Tracks ripped straight from the DVD to 96kps WAV > FLAC

No, you are not alone. I liked what I heard from the Spain show much more. I also think they sounded better during the 2011 shows but it has only been two shows so far. However, the two shows so far were played in very different settings which may account for the difference.

I think this show is amazing and I'm not just saying this but Mike is one of the most incredible drummers I've ever seen.
These last two shows have really convinced me that The Smashing Pumpkins right now are a better live act than they've ever been. I'm sure people will hate me for saying that but I'm serious.

Anyway, the band sounds great. Easily the best quality recordings ive heard of Oceania, Quasar and Panopticon. Oldies like Tonight Tonight, Disarm, and TEITBITE are still fantastic, and I like the way they've been slightly retooled.

I like the retooling of the old songs too. I've seen those songs so many times live on Vieuphoria for example... and honestly they would be a bit boring for me if they weren't reworked a little. That's one of the things I think the current lineup is doing well which is basically breathing new life into old songs that we've all seen and heard a million times.

A few observations:
-I noticed Nicoles backing vocals a lot more this time around than usual. Was she singing more than she usually did or was her mic just louder?
-XYU. I never really liked the 1998 performances of it much. I did enjoy the new version of BWBW from then, but XYU didn't change very well. Also, the screams were good but were a bit forced and some vocals just seemed completely off and had that loud bored sound to them. I suppose it was re-introduced after Billy found that new take he's planning on releasing and he felt like revisiting the song...
-Lack of new material and the overall 'greatest hits' theme of the show. I get that it's not part of a proper tour but unless they're doing a rotating roster of songs or something or plan on keeping all of these songs, the band went out of their way to redo a few old favourites. This also seems an especially odd move after that 'forget the hits' article i read not too long ago. But i'm surprised that there's no Gish material. Not even I Am One or Siva or something. It would have fit the show...
-Oh yeah, when did Billy get.. uhh... bigger?

BC and Mike at 53:20 just doesn't get any cooler. I wouldn't change one thing about this band.

yah im huge mike bryne fan after these shows over 2011 to now, not only does his drumming kick major ass in everything he really does(now he made mistake sat first in 2009-2010) but now he has a godly rocking voice that he can do perfectly WHILE drumming, yah he shot up really quickly on my favorite drummer's list

ok not liking oceania is just subjective but your insane if you think it fits on zeitgeist, quasar is the only song that sounds even remotely close to zeitgeist

you prefer having those annoying high pitched voice breaks, whatever floats your boat but i prefer it when he sings it cleanly without and cracks like they did playing it in 2011

Ok, I also think this Oceania was not the best one. But the rest is much the same.

If I were going to critique Billy's voice on every performance, to be honest I wouldn't have that much positive to say. However, musically this sounded sharper and more dynamic than any other performance of it ive heard. For that alone I give it tops on my list of Oceania performances.
