Is this board-wide? Is it just me? Can I fix my mistakes or what?

you only get a small window of time to edit your post. It's like 10 or 15 minutes I think but I'm not sure. Could be less than that.

It's a good thing because if you could go back and edit your posts indefinitely, people would take advantage of that and screw with people they don't like etc...

If you really want something edited and your time to edit your post is over.... you can pm any mod and ask if they'll do it for you. It shouldn't be a problem unless a mod doesn't think it's necessary.

post (checking to see how long i can edit for)

can't
well you can always make another post and then edit it again becausr the posts are consolidated. theoretically you could do that forever if you timed it correctly. hope that helps.

They also seem to be marking all the edits now. Before you had to actually specify that you wanted it to display that you edited you post.

Wow, yeah. I just tried to edit my last post several times to see how short a span we have. Went away pretty quickly.

This is going to keep shitty typists like me on our toes.

I also noticed that the notification that a post has been edited is no longer optional. This is going to be disastrous for me, because I don't think there has ever been a single post I haven't decided to reword slightly 2 minutes later.

Also, you only seem to be able to edit once now? After you make one edit, if you try to do it again, you get a prompt saying you are not authorized to edit this post. I have to start being more careful. :lol:/>

I could get to the bottom of this but I don't really feel like it.

I'll see what I can do.

Weird. Not sure what went down there. Let me have a look at it.

Ok...I changed it to 5 minutes. How does that sound?

The mark left by editing truly is an eyesore. Is it necessary that we no longer have the option of whether or not to display it? It just looks awful, and doesn't appear to serve a valid purpose.
