As far as the Oceania tour goes, Billy said on twitter that the band has been rehearsing Frail and Bedazzled.

Excellent song! Wish I was going now.

That, and the rest of the band was rehearsing Geek USA. Am I right? Could've been for shits & giggles, but we all know the band has been begging Billy to play it. They all love the song, from what I hear.

Maybe Billy caved?

Frail and Bedazzled, though. That's gonna kick ass.

damn, for geek u.s.a. billy has to put in A LOT of energy for it to sound good. if he's not that into it this tour, geek will suck haha. but i'm sure he'll be excited and crazy on this tour because of all the shit that's supposed to be coming out. (reissues, oceania, more reissues next year, more tbk)

last tour he wasn't that into it unfortunately. i think it was because he knew that the one song at a time deal wasn't working and was pissing us off. and he was also playing a lot of hits, which probably shaved down his enthusiasm.

Really? Must have depended on the show. Because I saw them at Terminal 5 in NYC last year and the whole band was energetic as shit. Billy was smiling the entire time almost. Especially during Ava Adore, As Rome Burns, and Hummer.

Now, 2008 is a different story. He barely engaged the crowd, he sounded bored, and the whole band had no energy. While I am glad I got to hear Jimmy live with SP before he left, I almost like this incarnation better than the first reformed line up. This one is tighter, happier, and balls out energy (well, most of the time...judging from your experience).

Just because they're rehearsing songs doesn't mean that they'll play them, like last year William said they worked up a really cool version of Jennifer Ever and Raindrops + Sunshowers.

Didn't know about that.

He has had his intense moments live over the last few years so I reckon he could still rock his way through Geek USA. It's the drums I'm worried about.

All the same song. Samurai Mike/Quasar/Stellar Polaris are all the same song.

"The People Mover" is likely referring to his knowledge that this is a popular song among fans. i.e. Gets people "moving".

Of course it won't sound like the soundcheck version. Remember 'Zen Baby'? Sorry, 'Lightning Strikes'. And the quality of that recording is poor. But I still like what I hear.

Yeah, so many titles - getting confusing x) I like Samurai Mike hehe

Anyone know anything about youtube rules? Would my account get deleted if I uploaded The Future Embrace short film with proper credits? There is one on youtube split in two, but I have a better quality version.

There's a future embrace short film?!
Ummm I believe Warner owns the rights to Zwan, Future Embrace and Zeitgeist and I know I can't uploads WMG videos in Canada, you're in Canada right? You can try, they'll just give you a warning and take it down, unless you've been warned before.

Yeah, it's 18 minutes long and freaking amazing. Not enough fans know about it :(/>

I just created an account, so there are no warnings yet. I was planning on having all of the videos that I link to in the archive in my favorites and such. Also, upload my own concert vids too.

I'll copyright Warner, Billy and P.R. Brown and see what happens x)

The music is like a remix/mash-up of all the TFE songs, so I have no idea who owns that.

I highly recommend it :)/> I love all of SP's electronic/remix music, so maybe that is why haha

Youtube rejected the video because it it too long :/ But, I found an ok version on vimeo: http://vimeo.com/gro.../videos/3757544

Apologies for going off-topic!

Hmmmmmaybeee.

I hope not. I hope it's something special no one has heard before. But who knows.

Also, real records will be involved in the record club, right? Some exclusive 7"s would be neat. Maybe reissue the original I am one 7" just for people in the club. Wouldn't that be swell?

How did it go? Was it an efficient emission that glided out with ease and required a little amount of wiping, or was it a gargantuan strain and colossal clean up job? Details, for fuck sake!

It's interesting. Definitely worth a watch. I think Billy tried to say quite a lot with that one.

That would be nice. More than the video, I want TFE outtakes. Far too much good stuff was left off that album.

Translation? "wielding through"?? Actually I can't put much stock in a Veronicas' taste in music so nevermind. Now if Courtney liked Oceania that would be another story ...

I hope they do more band group photography. That last one was good. They need more good group shots. So far that one is like one of the only decent group pieces they have. The train one was a good idea in theory but it doesn't work, 2/10 at best. Are there any other good group shots of the new band? The new art has been great I hope there will be a lot more. I feel like there's a lot going good now but that the band itself, all the people in the band, need to be fleshed out. We never hear from Jeff or Mike and sometimes hear from Nicole. I'd like to hear from all of them and we need more pictures of all the members.

It would be interesting to if they would talk about not just SP but what else they are up to also and things they like to do, what's important to them, what are their interests, what they want to do in the future (SP and non SP related).
