I'm sure this has been done ad naseum, but I'm a relatively new contributor to this board and wanted to start a topic.
So here goes. What is your all time favorite lyric or set of lyrics by Smashing Pumpkins?

On the day that you were born
They built an empire off a scream
I can't explain
And just the way he sings it!! Very moving to me.

"Sweet sweet sweet sweet little agony
I don't know just where you've been
But I'll take take take
All that you have for me
In sin
Where are we going?
And they all want you to change
And they all want you to change"
"And once again, you'll pretend to know me well, my friends."
"I walk alone, I walk alone to find the way home
I'm on my own, I'm on my own to see the ways
That I can't help the days, you will make it home o.k.
I know you can, and you can"
"Feel it
Break your bones
Mr. jones
Taste me
As I bleed
Taste my need
And spaceboy I've missed you
Spinning round my head
And any way you choose me
You'll break instead"
I don't know just where you've been
But I'll take take take
All that you have for me
In sin
Where are we going?
And they all want you to change
And they all want you to change"
"And once again, you'll pretend to know me well, my friends."

Favorite? That's tough. But I'm buzzed and feel like posting so I'm gonna do the first one that comes to mind:
While straight forward (less poetic) I've always appreciated the tone and sincerity of the part of In the Arms of Sleep when he sings -
"and I'll do anything to keep her here tonight and I'll say anything to make her feel alright,".
Shit. I forgot to include the part leading up to that where he says, "but sometimes a someone is so hard to find,". So goddamn true.

"so I pull my collar up and face the cold, on my own"
Pretty much all of Thirty-Three, actually.
