04/10/99 (although Pittsburgh show was best on that tour, this one holds a place in my heart)
02/25/94
07/31/98
off the top of my head. lots more, will get back to you.

=).
but yeah, 5/12/00 @ bronco bowl, cos i was there, thats the only reason i frequently listen to it.
rock am ring 6/2/07 was pretty amazing.
and arising! 4/23/99.
and the 10/5/88 show which may not count as a boot now since they released an official copy on Constantinople at their "final" metro show.
those are my favorites.
and yes, i seriously love the storytellers bootleg.
there is some juicy fun awesomeness on there that never made it on the air.

no, more the content than the quality.
you don't hear these songs too often, and it's rad to hear them live/hear darcy fuck up all the bass lines.
i think they were all nervous as shit playing this show.

they were twice as tight as 08/10/88.
both those shows are novelty only. songs aren't great, ESPECIALLY 08/10/88, and the fuck ups by everyone lead to a shitty couple of shows.
that is why i am shocked that you actually enjoy the songs. they generally suck balls. if you enjoy that material, the demos are better than a sloppy performance.
the band didn't get tight till late 1989.

Mayfair, I loved all of these, especially the Astoria and 99 show.
Any opinion on K-Diggity's suggestions?

the novelty is probably why i like it so much.
and the mistakes make me smile.
and yes, i enjoy the early demo tapes, too.
stars fall in is probably the best thing they did during that era.

It's great sound quality, and for once there's a sense of warmth and fun, with teases, and plenty of banter, both within the band, and between them and the audience. They also encore with 1979 for the only time on this tour. I can listen to this whole show over and over again because it makes me feel all warm and fluffy inside. :happy:/>

- Reading Festival in 1995 (headlining a major festival with a set thats 75% taken from an album not even out yet and is ASTONISHING. SP at their live peak. Best version of Mayonaise available too)
- Lisbon, 1998 (best show of the entire Adore tour- fanatical audience, a 20 minute version of 'Transmission' and this beautiful laid-back jammy version of '...Ruby')
- United Centre, 2000 (Last but one show, explosive excitement, the definitive Machina-era show combined with song long wheeled out hits)

Reading 1995. Good call man. Just grabbed this off Internet Archive and it is amazing. People there hearing MCIS tracks for the first time must have been blown away.

- Live in Botanique Gardens May 28th 1998
- Live at Spielbudenplatz May 14th 1998
- Live in Sydney 19th June 1998
- Acoustic Show Paris June 29th 1993
- Live at GM Place Vancouver Jan 8th 1997
- Live at Massey Hall Toronto Nov 3rd 2008
- Live at London Astoria Feb 25th 1994
And of course their "last" show in Chicago and the fairly recent one they did in L.A for record day or whatever as they played an incredible version of Soot and Stars (their only live version as far as I know, please tell me if you're aware of any other live performance of that as I will need to acquire it). Not a live show per se but I liked their Adore era performance on Jools Holland.

Actually I was wrong, they played it (Soot and Stars) somewhere else the same year as I heard a bootleg online, I'm still waiting for the person to get back to me to see if they have a flac or whatever.

I think I can say that can't I? Oh well, too late!
I would of course normally just enquired of whereabouts of 'Mellow, Jollie and the Infinite Madness' (ha..these guys...) but that would be a bootleg which mention thereof on this forum would result in a horde of gods angels descending upon me to tear the flesh from my very bones. meh...
It's my b'day if it helps?
[I've tried zomb and usual places to best of knowledge]

Help
