Um, that's really not the kind of attitude a company should be taking when they're trying to make up for being 3-4 weeks late on their original shipments.

Has anyone who tried to contact Topspin heard back? I can't find my receipt, so I requested my order number like Monte suggested...but I obviously need it sooner rather than later....

I just checked my old credit card statement online to verify this, and the number next to Topspin is not the same as my order number (looks more like a phone number, except that the "area code" is 023). Your order number should be an 8 digit number, and assuming their order numbers are sequential (they seem to be), should probably be somewhere in the range of 15000000-16600000 or so.

Aside: using my original reissue & flexi order numbers for reference, and calculating the number of days in between, topspin appears to receive an average of ~24000 orders per day. I'm certain not all of these orders are genuine (as it was possible to generate a 2nd, bogus flexi order while trying to figure out why their system was only working in IE), but it does go some way in explaining why their customer support isn't exactly punctual.

right because it didn't cost anything to produce this item :rolleyes:/>

but that said, I still understand the whole problem of not getting your item on time, then promised a gift on delay.

Word on the street (i.e. someone at Netphoria who happened to ask one of the TopSpin people on the phone) claims the first side is the instrumental version of "Frail and Bedazzled" and the other side is "Barbed Wire."

It's a flexi- I highly doubt it'll be 2-sided.

Yeah. I also doubt they will give a flexi of stuff that was already released for free digitally.

so Monte, if you know what it is, would you mind telling us when it will ship?

also, if Monte knows what it is, I'm concerned at how good it will be; because hes already risked giving it away by vowing to make sure everyone gets a copy.

You had to 'apply' by pre-ordering either Gish or Siamese Dream last October(?). If you didn't do that then...

Pretty offensive to be left off this considering the circumstances

Did you pre-order them through the official SP site? I would not be able to claim the bonus myself because mine were pre-ordered through Amazon. You would contact TopSpin with your order number if you ordered through the official SP site. There is a link that was provided a few pages back I think.

That sucks. I know that people who didn't even pre-order it had got the e-mail (not that they could claim it), but I haven't been getting the e-mails even though I'm on the mailing list too.

Okay i got it to work

close all open browsers. and reload the order page. (NOTE you may have to type a fake email address or an alt address if you get the error the email address is already in use.. but don't worry a fake one won't matter)

Once you get to the order page everything should go smoothly. let me know if you have issues.

you will get an email to confirm your order

Here is the link Monte provided for getting in touch with TopSpin if you have any issues. Apparently the deadline was supposed to be a few hours ago. Hopefully they will be willing to work it out with you, since you were supposed to get the e-mail.

Nope, it hasn't. I think if you were so frustrated with the massive delay and were forced to cancel, you guys should get it too. It's unacceptable. I kind of figured there would be issues with TopSpin so I opted out of getting it from them entirely. That and the shipping costs.

And i would suspect someone who lives in the LA County is likely to get it today.

Susan, I have also heard of people who canceled their pre-order with the reissue but still got the reissue and their money back. I know that may sound funny but some people will be able to get it because of lack of oversight.

That makes sense. Didn't one person on this forum report attempting to cancel their order, getting a refund, and then they received TWO shipments of their order? I seem to recall that. So I guess for people who successfully cancelled their order and were never shipped any products, perhaps they were not eligible.
