You don't need to know Billy to know that Courtney has a problem. If she was sober I don't think she would say or think these ridiculous things. Or even if she is sober from illegal drugs she still seems pretty angry and paranoid.

She's making these assumptions about what "Kurt would have hated" if he were alive today. In my view, what he would hate more than anything is all of the petty litigation fighting over money from Nirvana. Courtney acts like she knows that she wasn't in the band but that she owns the band. Like some greedy bitch or something... and then accusing everybody else of being greedy little bitches. It's gotten pretty pathetic.

The only way it makes any sense is if Courtney just thinks it's a joke or funny to stir up dumb stuff in the press but the way she gets involved with all of these lawyers and lawsuits shows that she really does believe these twisted things. Her excuse is always that she's doing all of this for her daughter but Frances clearly is embarrassed by it and doesn't even want to be involved. The fact that Frances referred to her as her "biological" mother says a lot doesn't it?

I can't begin to imagine what has led you to believe Billy "knows better." Despite his protestations to the contrary, he didn't know better the half a dozen times he caved in the past. It's a nice happy thought though. :)/>

I don't think anybody is faulting Courtney for being paranoid. It's the things she says on twitter which is pretty much saying things "publicly" that could really hurt the character of someone like Dave Grohl. Obviously I don't know him personally but he's a talented drummer and hard working and he works with a lot of people and he was a big part of the success of Nirvana. He doesn't deserve to have his accomplishments taken away from him by these baseless allegations from Courtney Love.
(Well they aren't completely baseless... the basis is her paranoid brain but that's no excuse.)

I know when he's interviewed about Nirvana, he talks about it emotionally and he says if there was one thing he could change it would be that Kurt was still alive. He lost a friend and bandmate.
