Your back/special order has not yet arrived. Please know that we are working on getting it for you as soon as possible. As soon as it arrives, your order will be shipped! In the event the product becomes unavailable, we will notify you. Thank you for your patience.

Anyone else?

Edit (added by Simon):
I looked into this and here's the official word from SPRC:
"Today our new fulfillment partner sent an automated e-mail notice via Topspin to all purchasers of Pisces Iscariot. It seems some of the wording was unclear and misleading. Please note: everything is on schedule for Pisces Iscariot to ship prior to release date as stated on our website and we are not back-ordered on anything related to Pisces Iscariot. We are however, out of Mens size XXL Cassette T's. Get those while you can- limited edition.

Thanks ~ SPRC."

So all in on track for Pisces.

Not again . . . I recevied the same e-mail this morning. I really hope this isn't a repeat of the Gish/Siamese Dream preorder fiasco. . . I sense another free gift post coming . . .

I ordered through Topspin only because people had good experiences with Oceania. I broke my cardinal rule to NEVER pre order ANYTHING.

A t-shirt and digital copy of the cassette is not worth the suckiness of seeing your order delayed repeatedly...especially BEFORE it's even released. AFter the Gish/SD debacle I never understood why anyone would use that company again.

Massively annoying because 1) I'm shipping to the UK and 2) I'm meant to be reviewing it for a reasonably noteworthy website, seeing as I was buying it anyway. Dodgy download it is then.

I know I said I never would, but after Oceania arrived without issue I figured they got their bugs worked out, apparently I was wrong.

I haven't bought anything yet, but I am still considering buying from the band site. Getting the product on day 1 isn't a big priority for me, and I'm willing to bet they'll give me another free gift. Am I crazy or not?

I assumed exactly because of all the issues last time, there's no way they'd make the same mistake again. Serves me right for having faith in people.

I know how you feel . . . hopefully this is just something that we shouldn't have gotten and that the order will be shipped on time.

^ I hope you'll be able to cope with the £5 "customs charge" and the Royal Mail's £8 "handling fee" [wtf?!?!], which I assume will be applied to the Pisces Re-issue via sp.com/Topspin: I got 'hit' with this charge for Oceania digipak + T-shirt bundle :what:/>.

So, :wavecry:sp.com/SPRC/Topspin - I'm gonna buy new SP stuff through Amazon.co.uk from now on.

er... It wasn't in the shipping costs when I paid. It was pretty reasonable actually, only worked out fractionally more expensive than amazon.co.uk...

Ordered Pisces Deluxe Box Set. I don't care about the shirt, just want the CD/DVD on release date. Is that too much to hope for at this point if it is related to shirt size?

Does this mean you have inside contacts and information at TopSpin? First I'm told the item is back ordered, then another TopSpin rep tells me they are moving warehouses and it has caused delays, another person tells me the item simply hasn't been received to their warehouse. I guess I should feel lucky I've received any form of reply from TopSpin but I don't know if any of these stories they're feeding me are remotely true.

I've got an order from June 13th that I have been told was shipped then it hadnt arrived and since then I have had 3 emails saying it hasnt arrived and that it will ship as soon as they have it. The last email was received yesterday. If I were you guys I would order through Amazon. TopSpin are clearly useless.

I pre-ordered through Amazon.ca awhile ago. The only thing that I am ordering from the official site is the digital download for Pisces, so I can get the digital versions of the cassette tracks. That way I still get the benefits of SPRC without having to deal with TopSpin's delays and shipping costs, and it ends up being cheaper than ordering the deluxe edition plus shipping from the site, despite having to pay extra for the digital downloads. I ordered the Deluxe edition and the vinyl from Amazon.

I am almost certain the new fulfillment partner is just topspin fulfillment, not topspin media...semantics. I do not trust anything they say as I didn't receive Oceania until almost 2 weeks after its release date even though I was 'guaranteed' to receive it. They marked my shipment as being sent, but never sent anything and then sent me a receipt with a ship date but no tracking info. Took me two weeks before I was finally successful in getting them to listen to me and actually fulfill my order. I for one will begin contacting them on Thursday if I do not receive a shipping confirmation email as with Oceania, many people seem to have started to receive their shipment the Saturday before. Good luck to us all that really wanted to exclusive merch or wanted to support the band as directly as possible.

I received my back order email from Top Spin this morning. No T Shirt in my order. Just deluxe. I really hope they don't fuck this up. You have one chance with me Top Spin (I never pre-order, so wasn't involved w/ the SD/Gish SNAFU)

An email with shipping confirmation or verification that they're not back ordered would be ideal.

Ok, despite not yet having received my Oceania presale order... I went against my better judgement and ordered the Pisces bundle from topspin. I really want that shirt- that's the only reason they got my business. Let's see which one I get first. :eyebrow:/>

So someone from Topspin Media named Brad Barrish who claims to be the Head of some Operations there (take a look here: https://www.facebook.com/TopspinMedia) has put a phone number on Facebook and even offered to refund a customer’s money in regards to the Pumpkins CD’s.

Brad Barrish 310-929-7455
Head of Operations

I say call ‘em! And call ‘em often!

I called him in regards to the SD/Gish re-issues and got a resolution.

You are part of the problem!

Seriously. We need to vote with our money here. I was really going to order Pisces from the website (it would be the first thing I ordered from the website other than my SP heart necklace), but when I saw that A) a few people have still not gotten their Oceania orders and B) people are getting weird emails about the Pisces reissue, I decided not to order from TopSpin because they are a horrible, horrible vendor. I really don't understand how they're in business. And I would love to have that cassette t-shirt, I really really really freaking would. You don't even know! But I can just save my pennies and just pick up Pisces reissue in stores.

I totally get what you're saying about voting with our money. I just think it's important for the band or merchandisers for the band or whatever powers control the distribution of the SPRC, to know why we are unhappy. Simply boycotting is likely to be misconstrued as a lack of interest. I personally have not lost any money, just had one really bad experience coupled with several mediocre ones. I am glad to see that a new topspin employee has emerged under Miranda with media and Trevor/Ashley with fulfillment. They clearly were restructuring, but I know if they mess this one up they are likely to lose me as a customer. As a fan, I really hope something is worked out before the SPRC exclusive audio material starts being released and I haven't found a more effective outlet than this one to express that sentiment. Guess I could PM Monte..lol

I agree and disagree. I for one am simply boycotting SPRC's native shop to avoid TopSpin all together. The only thing I will purchase directly from the band's site will be digital formats that I don't have to wait on. I don't see this as a lack of interest (speaking specifically to the PI reissue) as I have already purchased it from Amazon. I have zero doubt that Amazon will ship the item on release date, can anyone on this forum say they have that confidence in TopSpin? Try to support the band directly and this is how we're thanked...time and time again. No thanks. Billy and Co. will still get royalties from my Amazon purchase.

And I agree with the lack of outlet to voice our displeasure. TopSpin stupidly keeps sending me surveys to rate my experience and I keep slamming them, but if the turn around time for questions sent to them is any indication, these feedback results are never even read for days, months, years, if ever.

I agree, we are still supporting the band by buying through Amazon, at least in some way. I mean I pre-ordered both the deluxe and vinyl editions this time. TopSpin when it comes to SP stuff has been really been hit and miss in terms of getting stuff on time. My Silversun Pickups vinyl from them arrive surprisingly in a week, which was pretty good, but then my brother's one took longer than it should have, which made no sense. I think with Melissa Auf Der Maur's album or something, it took well over a month a few years back.

'Spaceboy_1979'====I have confidence that if they mess up bad I get a free rare Pumpkins item. That more than makes up for it.

Our society is getting too greedy, every one wants everything immediately. No patience what-so-ever.

Yeah if you pay for it and pay for shipping they should ship it when they say. That's how business works. But do we really have to complain if it's a day or 2 late. I understand never getting it or it being a month late, but come on.

Don't forget the people who pre-ordered, received nothing, asked for a refund, got their money back, and then received the items months later. I don't understand how anyone could place any kind of financial faith in Topspin, when all they have displayed is blithering incompetence.

Someone doesn't know what they're talking about. 1 or 2 days late? Please do your homework sir by reading past posts before trying to sway me with your kumbaya philosophy.

Did you even read what I said?
Some people swear off topspin for them being a day or 2 late = LAME (i disagree)
Some people get jacked around completely = NOT KOOL for topspin to do (i agree)

So before you go of on your "kumbaya philosophy" statements, comprehend what you are reading.

Proficient reading depends on the ability to recognize words quickly and effortlessly. If word recognition is difficult, students use too much of their processing capacity to read individual words, which interferes with their ability to comprehend what is read

This is you.
