No, I can't see it on your shelf with the other japanese cds, I know what it looks like cos I have a sealed copy, I'm guessing it's the two next to siamese dream

ah yes, the obi is in the back of the case, making it impossible to find them on the picture. i believe they are indeed the two cds next to siamese dream.

I've been wanting to do this for a couple years. I probably have 20 or more posters rolled up that are not photographed.

I think it is obvious how much I love this band. (35 Pics)

Kylie, I loved looking at those pics over and over. I have just 1 room looking like that, but you have a whole house full of awesome items. I humbly bow my head to you. Respect! And very sweet! I wished I lived close to you (I'm from The Netherlands) to come visit your place to be flabbergasted. Again, respect! A truly amazing set of Smashing Pumpkins and related stuff.

I can't fit any more in the cupboard. If I could, I would.

It's just one of the pitfalls of having so many TAFH boxes in Europe.

these days i mainly use my tafh boxes to prevent open windows being closed by draft. sometimes this plan fails, and the box gets crushed and then falls outside of the window, two stories deep. we always have a good laugh when that happens. "this one didn't fly that high, did it? LOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!" oh boy, jolly times. once i laughed so hard i spilled some water on the carpet. that was the end of the good atmosphere. i was really down for two days.

don't you ever put something in between the window and its frame to avoid the window slamming closed again? what's so crazy about that? also, don't you have any respect for carpets?

lovely drawing.
bugges is not a place though.

you have to understand, there is no airco here. if we want fresh air, we have to open a window. this might seem very medieval to you, but here it's considered normal.

why don't you have air conditioning? doesn't get hot enough?
and, what else do you not have in bugges?

no, normally it's pretty mild here. i think new houses (sometimes?) get airconditioning, but most places don't have it.

it's not bugges.

we don't have burger king or starbucks. they aren't missed.
i think starbucks is coming in a couple of years though. they're on their way. a year or so ago they opened a couple of shops elsewhere in the country. recently we got a couple of subways here in town. that's new for bruges.

we don't have a total smoking ban. in bars that don't serve meals, you're still allowed to smoke. it's going to take another couple of years before they ban smoking everywhere inside.

we don't seem to have any beggars or homeless people. or, if they're here, they are invisible. i really wonder why i never see any here. you always see them in the other cities. maybe the powers that be didn't want them in the historic town centre and found a way to send them elsewhere? or maybe bruges is just too small and not really that interesting for them? dunno.

maybe you can still edit your post? normally you can edit it for a couple of minutes after you made the post. i'm not sure how long exactly. at least, that's how it was on the old board.

edit: yes, this still seems to be the case. you should still be able to edit out the code, if you do it now. there is an edit button at the bottom of your post, on the right, next to the reply button.

A coherent answer from gishlullmoon? I must be dreaming.

He is correct, this vhs is from one of my pics and contains a show from CBGB's 15th July 1991 and is slightly better quality than the one in circulation (last time I checked) and another show from around 1991 which I can't remember

Some great collections on show here, good to see lots of other people share my passion of collecting all kinds of SP related music / memorabilia.

Judging by some of the stuff on show in the above posts I still have a lot of collecting to do!

I have a fair amount of stuff as well. Mostly c.d.'s b-sides, etc...but I do have a guitar pick from the Black Sunshine Chicago Auditorium show. That's my favorite...

Which color did you get?

To answer your question from 3 years ago...It's grey.

I also have one of the 5 Zwan posters from the Metro 20th Anniversary shows that a former Metro employee gave me.
Managed to get one of the WWMM and SFAS Record Day 7" singles.
But my recent meeting at the Madame ZuZu's opening and pictures with BC are my new favorites.

(hmmm...quote function didn't work as planned.)

I never really kept track of my collection til recently, but man all I have to say how irresponsible I was when I was younger. Well maybe not irresponsible but due to events out of my control, I realized all the SP memorabilia I have had when I was younger all GONE and lost forever because people have stole from me or I have lost things while moving (moved around the country a lot). It makes me sad, my childhood memories gone. All the things I had back then, lost.

I keep track of what I have now! And I will make sure this will never happen again, but it really is upsetting to lose so many memories such as magazines, cds, posters, concert tickets, stuff I had recorded from MTV. Books, just gone.

I think I am more sad about it because all of those memories were collected when I lived with my dad and he knew how big of a fan I was when I was a teen. And he has passed away, so it sucks. It was like my bond to my father, if that makes sense in a warped way.

Hmm ok

I am done ranting. But I will say

LESSON LEARNED!!!

LESSON LEARNED!!!

one correction: the memories are still there. the stuff is just stuff.
