Do those include information about what is on the rider & stuff like that? Not entirely sure why, but i've always been rather curious at to what they have...

These Tour Itineraries (Tour Books / Band & Crew Books) include information such as: tour dates, tour personnel (band, management, technicians, bus&truck drivers etc) , maps, promoter, mileage to each gig and daily itinerary pages with detail-information about the venue (capacity, doors, show-time) and the hotel where the band and crew stay.

i.e. from the Mellon Collie Tour August 27 - October 6 1996

The rider is the "want list" the band gives to the venue. It says stuff like "we want two dressing rooms, one for the boys, and one for D'arcy" or "we want two crates of beer, but it shouldn't be Heineken, four bottles of French red wine, six bottles of white wine, and 24 500ml bottles of mineral water".

I think it's normal that this isn't included in these tour itineraries, because these are used by everyone who's part of the tour: they contain info for the band and crew. Nobody of the band or the crew can do much with the rider.

Ah ok... I was just looking on thesmokinggun.com & in some bands itineraries it lists the rider details along with the other info. I thought it may be the same with SP. Guess not.

@drevpile: informations about the rider (or other contract-details with the venues) are not included in the tour itineraries for the smashing pumpkins

if you want to make an easy buck, you should buy them and sell them on ebay. sealed tafh boxes can go for quite a lot. eh, even opened and used tafh box sets usually go for more than what they cost in stores.

My collection:

- MP3s of all SP studio albums and all the currently available non-album songs
- The two November Kansas City shows in MP3 format
- Greatest Hits, If All Goes Wrong, and Vieuphoria on DVD [without cases, just the discs in a notebook]

Nothing more or less.

I have all known published songs on digital.
I have all their CD albums.
I have have a couple CD singles.
I have 2 12" vinyls. Gish and Siamese dream. Original and unopened and it's still in their plastic wrap.
A couple of shirts, concert stubbs and all their DVDs.
I have the TAFH box set as well.
No posters. sad.gif
Still alot more to go. Alas, money and scarcity of SP stuff where I live prevents me from collecting like I want to.
I am very envious of the awesome collections some of you have. Congrats. I'd love to own them all. smile.gif One entire collection to listen to and read and another entire collection unopened for collecting. biggrin.gif

billy's autograph on the back of a caroline pressing of gish. i got him to sign it on his way through dallas during the future embrace tour.

of course, he wouldn't autograph anything for me, but my tall, blonde girlfriend at the time was able to get his attention rather quickly. i really can't say that i blame him.

[attachmentid=4114]

small time for this board, i know, but it's my absolute favorite piece.
