Wow. This is actually all awesome news. Im shocked to be honest. I wasnt expecting much, but theres alot coming down the pipe in pumpkinland. Very, very cool. Oceania is an interesting thing as well. Its still part of Teargarden, but an album unto itself. I cant find a single thing to gripe about in this announcement. Might we finally get the Metro show?.

Finally an announcement that doesn't dissappoint! And I can finally get Mellon Collie and Machina on vinyl. And Oceania. And Owata. And the "Final Show".

I'm glad they are doing all the reissues on vinyl! As I did not buy mellon collie on vinyl yet, I'll be able to buy all the reissues for the same money!!

They are releasing all their old albums on vinyl again, and they are re-mastering Machina 2. Metro show sounds like it will be out now as well. Kick ass!!
This is the best Pumpkins news in over 10 years, and I think Billy is going to see some solid sales figures again.

I wonder if Oceania will be songs we've already heard? (Unreleased but played live) Or a whole new set?

Really great news! Especially excited for Oceania. Makes me wonder about the format in which it'll be released. Considering how the waiting for a song method was going, I'd be happy to pay for the album without getting the tracks for free.

i really hope he goes through with this. i thought the re-releases would be for 20th anniversary of the original release or something. needless to say, i am a lot happier with getting all of them in the next 2-3 years. knowing billy though...

I could be wrong, but judging by the trees he looks to be here in Australia (which coincidentally is part of Oceania).

Also REMIXED MACHINA 2!!!!!! PLEEEEEEEASE let there be a decent mix of White Spyder on there!!!!!

I think it is Kerry's back yard. That house thing behind him looks like the same one in the DFLtv interview he did

skip gish and siamese dream on LP, they're still in print. Skip straight to Aeroplane and Machina II.

It's not just a remixed Machina 2 ... it's ALL of Machina, finally as one, big album, the way it was originally meant to be.

Fuck yeah. Can't wait 'til 2013. The rest is awesome, too, but ...

Hmm, maybe history will ultimately regard Machina as a classic ...

Yep, I can't wait for a full Machina double album. It will be interesting to read Pitchfork's review of the full album. :rant:/>

Very interesting, I am excited don't get me wrong but I'll believe it when I see it. I'm not getting my hopes up about a Metro show release only for it to become vapourware for the 100th time. Owata and the new album within an album is good news as well. Definitely some of the best SP news in a long while but yeah, we all know how Billys mindset can wander :p/>.

i really wish they'd do the reissues backward. the earlier records are the easiest to get on vinyl. i think most people would be way more excited for Machina, Aeroplane Flies High, Mellon Collie

P4K changes w/ the weather, and what is hip at the time. They couldn't suck enough Strokes cock, then decided they were shit (I don't like the Strokes btw, just an example). This could be the ultimate damnation of SP, or a redemption. I think the P4K's will give great reviews to all the re-issues and dog on Oceania. It's inevitable. Just like in 10 years when they decide TbK is awesome.

Oceania is the region that encompasses Aus, NZ, Papua New Gunei, Tonga etc. etc. Obviously he has fallen in love with the place, and who could blame him, especially having an Australian girlfriend. ;)/>
