I can't really see pictures people post anymore. When the page is loading a can see the pictures but once it's loaded I just get this bar that says the picture has been resized and to click on it to see the picture, but when I click on it nothing happens, and I can't see the picture.

Maybe it's your internet connection? I know the speeds in New Zealand can be slow. Is this for all the large pictures? Or is this for only attachments? If you're using AdBlock, maybe you blocked attachment pictures? Are you on the latest version of Firefox? A lot of questions, I know. Those are just some things that come to mind.

Relatively speaking, it's probably slow, but it's not that slow over all

Not all pictures, but it happens for both posted pictures and attachments. It happens most in the Random Picture Thread, A lot of other threads that only have a few pictures posted it's not usually a problem.

I would say it's your Internet. It may be a latency issue, I'm not sure. I've had that problem at times, I have shitty satellite Internet. The fact it happens in threads with a lot of pictures I think makes it a connection issue.

Dave or Simon would know better than I though.

I'm no longer having this problem, so I assume something was done to fix it
Thanks

Ya, sorry - I had a look at the backend, and everything seems fine. You could perhaps try your account from a different computer and see if the problem persists.

sounds to me like the script to load the image is being blocked or not loading at times, perhaps due to cache issues, ram issues, even in the network servers from the board to N.Z.. very doubtful this is on the boards side but i'll see if I'll look into it a little too.
