When Monte tweeted about it this morning, I just assumed he was looking too deeply into the recently "postponed" Rock Coast Festival appearance, since that was also slated to be on the 24th. But I guess he's onto something, since the event was changed to the Not so secret show. However, with that said, I doubt it'll be the Oceania release party that was theorized on crestfallen, since they had about what, a week to put this together? I don't think it'll be crazy elaborate. But I'd love to be proven wrong. :)/>

Maybe a show to play the whole album via stream. My guess.

Mmmm... I know Spain is more than enough data for most fans, but, living in Spain, I'm still thinking "Where the fuck is this going to take place and how can I get in???". I'm going to be checking the internet every 5 seconds.

Haha. It's the same day they were supposed to play that festival that got canceled in Spain (Canary Islands) and they'll be heading to Portugal after that, so it makes sense.

I loved the band last time I saw them live, but I would not oppose that. Especially if he breaks out gems like In The Arms Of Sleep and For Your Love again. That seems worth it to me. Plus, you might hear live acoustic versions of some unheard Oceania songs. If the album version is not completely acoustic-based, then he doesn't run the risk of expectations because everybody already knows it is an ACOUSTIC show.

Then again, it could be full band. Either way, have fun.

Yeah, but he played Pinwheels & Pale Horse acoustic and they were fine. For God & Country wasn't the greatest song to start with anyway. :p/>

If someone can pay for my tickets, hotel and airfare then i'll pay you back with a firm hand shake. It's a good offer, please think it over :happy:/>

For God & Country was a cool song, i thought they could of stretched it for another minute at least. One of my favorites from Zeitgeist, but let's not derail ;)/>

I will definitely try to give some information the following day. I could try recording audio with my iPhone. Does anybody know if that would give me a decent result? Should I not even bother?

The show is in an arena, so I doubt its a Billy solo show.

First and foremost enjoy the show for yourself of course. You will give us all the details later on.
If by chance you can manage to throw us a bone, then I guess there are people here who will thank you but if it's too complicated or if it ruins your moment please don't bother.

I have absolutely no idea of what you can use to record since I've never recorded anything during a performance myself. I have a reflex camera which I bring to shows but sadly it doesn't have a video option.

Just one last thing, if you manage to record anything, don't forget to turn your screen off, people behind you will appreciate. :happy:/>

The place is called Arena, but it's actually quite small. It's usually a discotheque.

I will probably take some pictures, but I will not record any video. I was only thinking of maybe recording audio.

Try to get the setlist, if you can, too. Sometimes it's surprisingly hard to remember the set if you don't write it down as it's happening.

Personally, I know true audiophiles would cringe, but I would love to have a full audio recording, even one done on an iPhone, versus a few 1 minute video clips... I don't know how much memory iPhones have though, I am in the dark ages with cell phone technology apparently.

Sounds like it'll be a cool show though - do you know what the venue capacity is?

Tickets on Ticketmaster aren't on sale yet: http://www.ticktackt...6989&origin=TTT

I figured all this out a few hours ago for someone else, only took about 5 minutes to dig up all the info. Just been spending the last few hours with my daughter as she's going back up to her mothers tomorrow. To those who are going, enjoy the show and let us know all the details <3/>

I remember in the late 90's being very excited by what seemed to be the onset of solid state high quality audio recorders and thinking how "oh, in 5 or 10 years every show will be recorded in high quality because it'll be so easy!". Instead, every show is captured for posterity by a series of absolutely horrible quality iPhone videos and then uploaded in chunks to YouTube as a disorganized mess. WHERE'S MY JETPACK?!?!

It's the modern age, welcome to the sacrifice of quality over cheap convienience. If commercial jetpacks where around now i'd expect they'd have a high chance of falling apart when passing by a butterfly "ALL SALES FINAL, NO REFUNDS!"

I agree w/ the person who said have fun first and foremost.

That said if you grab a clip here or there I'd recommend holding the iphone landscape. If you hold it upright while filming it creates a really poor rectangular video w/ large bars on both sides..... just try taking a clip or two first....

Hopefully someone w/ true taper mics/equipment tapes audio...
