Did anybody else like the concept? Are you interested in rewriting it with me?

I dont know; there are lots of connections from the machina story to all eras of billy corgan's career. the whole microcosm/macrocosm thing. I noticed many connections between machina and zwan, futureembrace, AND zeitgeist.

I won't deny the connection between Machina & Teargarden (though I dislike the songs for the most part). It is interesting. I see no connection between Zeitgeist & Machina, however. Save for a handful of songs, none of the tracks on Zeitgeist are very personal lyrically. Doomsday Clock? FG&C? US? 7 Shades? (Come On) Let's Go? Starz? Please...
I'll give you maybe Stellar, Death From Above, Zeitgeist, That's The Way and Tarantula. Those seem to be the most personal songs on the record.

Come on Let's go
you could be my friend
lovely and different
crushing up the stars above us
a guarantee to spoil our rot
c’mon let’s go
c’mon let’s go
beyond the great unknown
beyond their punched-up skulls
to die upon this road
see he finds a new friend to traverse through the sky going to the great unknown looking back at the ones who have been beaten/held back down
(:lol:/> oh shit think raptor jesus)
Starz
born of love and cast in light
don't you know we cannot die
for love I keep
silent I weep
dead suns rule dead air
but Heaven is everywhere
torn from god and flung towards night
don't you want what I can't fight
he knows we are all made from the dust of stars and that God is the bigger "machine" in the grand scheme of it all
wanting to find God in through his travels in heaven/stars in the sky
Maybe 7 shades of black is where he is looking for his new friend to go sky traveling with, but it's probably just another breakup song :lol:/>
Doomsday Clock is the idea to gtfo and go to space. :shrug:/>
just giving you something to feed on LostSoul...you could be a part of the raptor jesus fly through space/heaven too and not be a LostSoul :rofl:/>
