Billy Corgan to do a Q&A on twitter A question about festivals.

For some reason I don't have (and won't be able to have) a twitter account to ask questions within monday, but I do have a question, so I was wondering if someone could help me here.
I would like to know if the band is considering to promote and support the upcoming album only by performing during festivals in Europe (since Oceania will probably be released in late spring, speculation is rife on this particular subject...;)/>), or if we'll be granted with a proper tour (which obviously I would prefer), or if they have planned to do both.
Is there someone around here who was considering to ask this question and if not could someone please volunteer for this task please?
I thank you very much in advance for your help. :flowers:/>
PS: I haven't read much about the forthcoming tour but maybe someone already has hints on what it is going to be so if you have any piece of information, feel free to post it here. I thank you again for this. :flowers:/>

Additionally, as I highly doubt I will be able to be online to ask, could someone ask him to finally confirm a completed (w. vocals), studio version of Speed from the Mellon Collie sessions, and if we'll see it on the reissue? Any questions relating to the Mellon Collie/ Aeroplane reissues that could yield potentially mouth-watering responses would be fantastic.

When the band did the Q&A with LiveNation on twitter a few months ago, there were like one or two really interesting soundbytes out of the whole thing.
This one has the potential to be even worse as it's a promoted tweet by @TwitterMusic and people of all kinds (not just hardcore fans) will be asking questions.
That said, I don't think you have to be asking the questions as the Q&A is going on - in fact, you probably want to tweet them NOW, beforehand. Just use the #AskBilly hashtag. But I wouldn't be on your questions getting chosen, though, sadly - especially the "Speed" one, because he may not know quite yet. The Europe tour question has a better chance of being answered, but he's probably limited in what he can say until the official tour dates and PR are ready to release.

I know Pisces Iscariot is next up for remaster/re-release. Will Judas 0 get a similar treatment? #AskBilly

That's a great question! We know he said the Greatest Hits will be rereleased (I'm assuming with stuff from 2000-Oceania if he feels like they are worthy) but he never clarified if Judas 0 would rereleased.

@TwitterMusic You've said Zeitgeist is too pop, it should have been heavier as the rough mix. Will you change it for the reissue? #AskBilly
-
@TwitterMusic (How) Oceania will change the process of making and releasing the rest of Teargarden? #AskBilly
-
@TwitterMusic You're working on a new album & on the reissues of older ones. Did any process influence on the result of the other? #AskBilly

:thumbsup:/> Been wondering that myself. It'd be great if they did, as it would free up a ton of room for new bonus content on Adore.

I was searching for the hashtag #AskBilly and there's no many dumb questions this time. So, I think we'll get good answers.

Exactly what I was thinking (except the gay part). They have picked quite a few inconsequential questions so far. Nothing really new or interesting.
My favorite stupid question was the one from the girl who asked for baby names. Brilliant questions being picked here.

well, it's been listed as a track from Oceania, and I think there's speculation that this is the love song Nicole was talking about.

There were some very good questions and Twitter Music chooses 'what should I name my baby??!
In the future I will not be wasting my time thinking of questions that most people on this board would want the answer to.

By whom? Billy or TwitterMusic?
Considering the lack of news the fan base has received, it was an excellent opportunity to have some gaps filled in. It is also not that often that SP fans get the chance to directly ask Billy questions, it would have been nice if just half of the questions dealt with the music.

Why announce something important in 140 characters when they usually do it via SPRC e-mail, a video on youtube or on their facebook?

Life is too short.
Even if some of the questions were subpar - got to admit that his answers were great - especially Voltaire lol
I agree that news on the reissues would be pleasant. I can't wait to see the artwork for PI!

I only found out about it yesterday. Suffice it to say, given my long experience as an SP fan, my expectations were low. That baby name question just pissed me off, not Billy's answer (the Voltaire bit was great), just that it was picked. Furthermore, I am just being argumentative for the sake of it right now.

Same here. I wonder how they will alter it. I wonder if we will ever know who is really on the cover :shiftyeyes:/>
I am also really curious as to what tracks are going to appear on it since a lot of them showed up on Gish and SD.

Hmm, I expect that to remain a mystery! Looks like James to me x)
I vote for Glynis and Why Am I So Tired? I really love instrumentals :)/>

I like the postcards they did for the other two box-sets. I hope to see more of the same but I think the PI photos were more personal so we might not get any or get studio shots instead.
I am all for the instrumentals. I love the Soma instrumental on SD.
