really pumped, especially since Monte said his next Bill's Corner will be asking him if they'll send a single to radio before the release. I expect quite a bit of press regarding this, along the lines of, 'new, free SP album Oceania out soon, get it and it'll be on sale in January, revolutionary way of doing the music biz' or whatever. It defs won't just be a quiet release.

The Parade of Helios > There was a song first called Special K than it was changed to Helios. Probably they are all the same song.

if the song Lonely has not been changed to something on that list I am really hoping it is accompanied on a single with an Oceania song.
time needs to move faster so I can be listening to this album right now.

taking a guess at the last two, which don't appear to be part of the album...

The Coronation Failure
The Parade of Helios

b-sides? anyone recognize these titles?

If you compare to the first board:

http://bystarlight.org/photoarchive/albums/Equipment/Studio/normal_SPstudio46.jpg

Maybe Parades + Lullabies of [Helios] just became Parade of Helios?

i think they will probably have 2 B-sides or CD only songs for the commercial physical release, which im ok with, i was gonna buy the album anyway just for nostalgia purposes but if they got 2 new songs im defiantly got a bigger reason to get it

Im sure there will be a number of boots come out during the upcoming tour, but to be honest I really dont think I want to hear any of these Oceania songs that way for the first time. It tends to put certain expectations on songs, and being let down if you hear the live version first is a distinct possibility. I really wish they had the album set up to come out before the start of the tour, that way no conclusions could be drawn from the live versions.

possibly. considering "Parades + Lullabies of..." formerly occupied the same space where we now see The Celestials on the whiteboard, it may be that they're all alternate titles for the same song. although it does seem a little odd that there's still an alt. title on the board at this stage.

and that little black smudge between "Coronation" and "Failure" may very well be an "of" :shrug:/>

I completely disagree actually. I'll be at the Chicago show, and I for one love when any band plays new material. Being one of the first people to hear it awesome. While I can sympathize with the fact that hearing it live first may raise expectations for the studio version, I'm always glad when bands feel close enough to their fans that they can play a completely new song in front of them. it gets me pumped.

Oh i know. My Love is Winter is one of my favorite songs right now. So is Quasar. Lonely seems to fit with those two songs, would be a shame if we had to wait till the next album for it.

surely the only reason Lonely is not on Oash is because it has already been recorded for a standard TBK release as, if reports are to be believed, it would have been a perfect fit for this album.

Granted, at that time Oceania had a slightly different setlist. Things have changed since then.

LOL. I meant at that time (June 1, the same day Billy tweeted the initial Oceania tracklist), we believe Oceania would have 12 songs. Obviously since then the number has grown to 13, some song names have changed, etc.

I'm outraged :rant:/>

So Lonely which is a really good song is probably not going to ever be released :(/>
1 1/2 years has gone by since it was demo'd. That is more time in between than SFAS being played live and then released. :drama:/>

Maybe SPRC will release it in 5 years ;)/>

I still hold out hope that some of those songs could be recorded for Teargarden after Oceania. A lot depends on their plans for next year. If they are trying to tour a good part of the year, then maybe they would just try to record some stuff he has already written - if they are going to record anything at all. I don't know, just pure speculation on my part.

From Monte:

http://crestfallen.c...ible-final-cut/

Billy Corgan told friends on his Facebook account “now that the album is in the proverbial can, it is time to get it sequenced. Believe it or not, none of us has listened to Oceania in it’s entirety. We figure we will do that tomorrow, and see what changes might be made. I’m still open to cutting songs, but we do like them all a lot.”

someone needs to tell Billy to not be cutting any of the 13 songs!

lol 21 chances to get the song. That song deserves a place on an album not on SPRC (it can go there too as a demo) but an actual studio mix deserves to be heard.

I'm talking about TbK. TbK EP 1+2+3 = 10 + Oceania = 13 = 23 ... TbK is made by 44 songs ;)/>

Could be palace as the quality of the image is bad x)

Most of us concluded that it was "parade" based on the previous song board that had "Parades + lullabies of" [helios].

Right, but look at the rest of his R's. They're big and loopy. Whatever the 3rd letter is, there isn't even enough room for it to be an R that had the top loop erased by accident.
