Opening bands 2011? any word yet?

i am going to the LA show and the "start time" is 6pm. i am thinking they will have at least 2 opening bands like the last tour.

Anyone heard anything yet?

"Fancy Space People" and "Light FM" are the opening bands.

i always promise myself that i will show up after the opening acts, but i never do. i get anxiety and start thinking that Corgan would surprisingly come out and play a song with one of them, or i'll think that i would get car trouble and need the extra time to get to the venue. my worst nightmare is not making to a Pumpkins show when i have a ticket. damn, i HATE opening acts though, even thought the Pumpkins usually have the best opening acts (that's not saying too much either). i'll get over it though once THE band of the night comes out :)/>

While I appreciate the opportunity to get to hear 2 different band in addition to the one I came to see....having 2 opening acts starts to make it feel like it's some kind of travelling festival, to me. Plus, I really hate standing for 5 hours before SP finally comes on stage, then plays for an extra 2 or so. 7 hours of standing is a long time, not very comfortable. :(/>

Billy played with the opening band the Frogs last time they were at the Aragon in Chicago. pretty awesome show. i dont think Billy would do that for these bands. Nicole might make an appearance with Light FM tho, since she was in that band... would be pretty cool.

Last UK tour had Oceansize, so I doubt we'll get anyone near as good this time. Someone tell their booking agent to get Amusement Parks On Fire.

jeeze , best take your zimmer frame and a nice flask of hot choc eh ???if your lucky they might let you do some knitting shit or something ?? idk ....

i love new bands , and i also like the wait for the band ive paid to see....and when its one of my top five fav bands of all time !!! c,mon the pumpkins ... i cannot wait to see you play :)/>:)

also , if your standing for 5 hours , then make use of the time ?? by drinking excessively and eating sweets :)/>:):)/>
