This is the best 'new' song by a mile. I've been a bit :shrug:/> about a lot of the new stuff but this one really gets me. Really looking forward to the new album. P.S. They absolutely rocked Brixton Academy on the 16th Nov this year, great gig.

I believe so! Well, the one I went to on the 16th was packed shoulder-to-shoulder full. Put it this way, haters will always hate and say "it's not the same", "they didn't rock like they did 10, 15, 20 years ago"...In my mind it's just crap. The show I saw on the 16th rocked the shit. I saw Billy & Co. happier than I've seen for the last few gigs in the UK. The "farewell concert" to GB at Wembley Arena in Nov 2000 was an abortion of a gig compared to what I saw on the 16th Nov 2011. Woa! Went off on one there a bit! :cheers:/>

I know when I like a song, and when I don't. Thats all I got.

Because ignorance is always the cool route to take, regardless of medium, right?
Right.

yah its a happy song, it also may be the only remotely happy song on oceania, but then again this may not be a happy song sorta like how perfect sounds like one but is no where close

it's a happyish song and yet I see it having some sad undertones to it

you don't deserve me (if that is what he is singing) that's kind of sad :(/>

yah i dont really detect anything more than a hint from it, i just find it akward that the rest of the album is a downer(supposedly) yes theres this happy love song in the middle of it, granted mellon collie was full of rage songs and then you just have lily out of no where

Just listening to Pinwheels for the second time.

Something in the song that made me hit the backward button and re-listen before moving on to the next track Oceania.

It's probably the sad guitar riffs, the acoustic guitar, the sweet backing vocals, the many poppy sounds at the beginning of the song, the chorus.. Beautiful.

The intro is the high point in the entire album.

Agree. That song alone sold me the album.

lately i have been seeing the large spacecraft from close encounters playing the intro for me with my 3rd eye. quite a sight.

when first listening I would see a pinwheel held by a child who is holding his parents hand at an amusement park or fair or something like that, done up like the Siamese Dream insert with pictures + pen work. not as colorful as the ufo, but interesting just the same.

nothing like the lyrics suggest which are awesome in their own right. but yeah, i'm kinda interested to see what I see next week when listening to this song.

I share these thoughts because they are silly. enjoy them.
