Holy.... whatever you want! :w00t:/>
This was great!

I'm so pleased to see how they experimented things on old hits.
Those things have already been listed but:
  • Tonight, tonight with the tonite reprise intro and Jeff playing with an ebow. :flowers:/> :flowers:/>
  • Disarm with the backing strings. I felt like Billy was 25 again for a second due to his stage attitudes. :flowers:/>
  • A fresh David Bowie cover with a short but nice Jeff solo. :flowers:/>
  • Mike singing "uh uh uh Black Diamond". :flowers:/> :flowers:/>
  • And this...ok for once I'm going to use a bad word ...this fucking awesome version of XYU! Billy was so into it, screaming and everything I just can't believe it!
They completely recreated the atmosphere of the song. :flowers:/> :flowers:/> :flowers:/> :flowers:/> :flowers:/>

Oceania tracks were identical to what we've heard so far during last tour, and I haven't noticed anything special in songs like Today, Bullet, Cherub rock, etc. But I'm definitely going to hear XYU again...

PS: Manuglass, where are you?

Xyu? Not a whole lot of energy in the performance and you can't hear the vocals much in the clip. I' wasn't blown away but it was seemed good. Much much Better than the half assed versions of bodies..

Oceania wasn't identical. There were minor performance differences- phaser on the keyboard during the last bit, keyboard doing the transitional riff before the "drive away bit"

Watching this show on Youtube, wow! It seems like the band have really hit their stride and are comfortable with each other, it's great. Jeff is adding his own twist to the guitar parts rather than just bashing out what James play. I'm loving it :)/>

you do realize your making it impossible for you to like these live shows cause your already passing judgements before hearing them, not just from this statement but i remember all the stuff you were saying last year about the tour, you arnet giving them a fair chance, even when you try it your mind is dead set from the start and you refuse to let anything change that

this isn't true.

deny it all you want, its simple bias and you've proven it a million times over that you have it, such as you saying youd never go to a show ever again cause they cant play right (said it last year) not even giving a chance is one of the most extreme form of bias

bullshit.
just because i didn't want to go to the show last year.
ridiculous.
i didn't pass any judgement. i just said i'm quite skeptical when i hear some random people on sp.com say that they "nailed" xyu. i'm not saying they didn't nail it. i'm just not buying it before i've heard it myself.
(yes, i was disappointed when i heard recordings from the last tour.)
