great interview. interesting tidbit: on MSOTS, TFE, and Zeitgeist, Warner mandated that the singles be the most "Pumpkinsy" songs on the album. Billy wanted "Of a Broken Heart" to be a single for Zwan.

um, it makes perfect sense. He is saying it's the end of linear time because once a b®and reaches a certain threshold you can just roll out the holograms, thus going backwards in time. And everything he says is true about branding. Look at the KISS example.. lunchboxes, toys, comics, soda and not one original band member need be on stage. Harder with a band like the pumpkins because Billy's look is pretty specific and his voice very unique.
