I would agree with most of those. But in terms of intimate moments, I find music too distracting. You end up focusing on how awesome or annoying a song is instead of what you really should be doing lol. It's okay when you start off and you start to have an amorous, but then you just want to shut off the music and go from there.
Now if it was a love scene in a movie or something (which would usually be a montage, rather than the whole thing), To Sheila might be appropriate. I remember Billy claiming that he was approached to use To Sheila in Cruel Intentions but he said no because he didn't want the song to be forever associated with Ryan Phillipe's butt lol. I'm guessing he meant the love scene in which they use Colorblind by The Counting Crows instead.
Now if you break up or get rejected, you might feel angry or sad, you might be more inclined to listen to the heavier songs by SP like Bullet, Zero, Ode to No One, XYU, etc.

Well, the greatness is in the Musician that created the music,of course.
It's something I've always sort of teased bodhi about being that he's one of the
most intelligent people (in so many things)that I've met here on the forum.
I don't know about everyone being great though, actually I'm told only God is great.

Turned out she couldn't stand the band. Of course, I also got a text one night 4 months into dating saying that she caved and downloaded their Greatest Hits album. And she was so embarrassed. We've been dating 3 years, and she's seen them live twice with me. She got to hear her Greatest Hits the first time, and then the second was a setlist that only an avid fan (such as myself) would love. She won't admit to loving their studio output, but she loves them live. Last time we saw them, I caught her texting her girlfriend about how giddy she got when Billy came out on stage. :lol:/>
Her favorite songs are The Everlasting Gaze, Tonight Tonight, My Love Is Winter, Siva and (Come On) Let's Go! (...I've criticized her plenty for this one). She tends to stray from their more experimental stuff, although she appreciated Gossamer, Silverfuck, and Oceania live quite a bit.
Anyway, I don't really have a list for you. Everyone else has done well enough on that.

Yeah it really depends. But I couldn't make love set to music, it's too distracting. But if you're kissing a little bit or cuddling while listening to music, that is a bit different.

The music is good to set up a mood or compliment a situation,
I recently enjoyed Violet Rays for a quick boning. (excuse my french)
I've never made love yet with music because I dont know if I've ever truly loved.
I would guess, probably Whitney Houstons "I will always Love You??" lol
Or The Cures "Twilight Garden"
I cant think of one with SP yet?

lol well I guess that's to philosophize about haha. But whatever you call it, I haven't yet found myself in a situation where music was a compliment rather than a distraction in those specific set of circumstances. But you never know haha.

don't think of it as you. think of it as music accompanying video condensing moments of your life into catchy sequences played by your favorite actors for mass consumption so everyone can be like "hey, i see what they did there" or something.
probably more like or something though with most people.

well, ya know, live your life and have the moments without the music happening of course, or some really bad songs in the background you'd rather forget about.
the proper accompanying music for each moment is piped in later during the recreation on the big screen for emphasis or for the handy use of a montage.
figure we're all stars, just uncharted and unnamed waiting to be discovered.
I am sure in 500 or so years many of us internet pioneers will be understood on higher levels and eventually maybe everyone fully appreciated and praised, as future cultures go through changes and realizations of the genius' insight of our modern day lunatics. lol

I own tons of boxes filled with letters from my "ancesters" (end of the 19th century / beginning of the 20th century) and photos.
I've read some of those and if some of them are of interest (beautiful love letters or 1st world war letters) a vast majority of them is just about everyday life and sound like gossips. :lol:/>

Lets focus more on Understanding than being understood.
Appreciating and praising than being Appreciated and Praised.
Loving than being Loved.

understanding and being understood are a bit like yin and yang in motion, its hard to tell where one starts and the other begins, especially when it comes to knowing ones self.
