I'm pretty excited for this! Guessing they will play celestials right? I would like to hear them play my love is winter or Inkless.. Something with a cool guitar solo.. But as long as that choir is gone I'll be happy. Why must he play Leno tho... So lame. Play Conan and Fallon!

Leno probably gets better ratings.

But would love to see them on Conan and Fallon also.

Will def. be watching Leno on Thursday (for the first time in forever).

Also, glad to see Kirsten Dunst on there. I like her. I wish she'd do more stuff.

How about a 15 minute live version of Oceania?

Sorry Jay, the Pumpkins are more important than your jokes.

Great news! Playing the song Oceania would be gutsy! But I guess they will go with The Celestials. Plus, they probably wouldn't be allowed to do a 9 minutes song anyway.

Thank God.

Some idiot on the Netphoria board said that Monte said they were performing an acoustic version of Wildflower. Guess he was making that up.

Yeah - they might get a bigger audience on Leno, but I wonder if the demographic more likely to buy their album is watching more of Conan and Fallon?

For anyone in and around LA - Leno tickets appear to be "sold" out, they are free.. But I saw this on their site:

Feel Lucky?

A limited number of tickets and stand-by passes are available each tape day at the NBC Ticket Box in Burbank. You must come on the day you wish to attend. All tickets are complementary and distributed on a first come, first serve basis starting at 8:00am. Guests often line up early, you must use your own judgment as to the best arrival time. Tickets will be distributed two (2) per person and you must be at least 16 years old. The NBC Ticket Box is located at 3000 W. Alameda Ave., Burbank, CA 91523 on the California Street or west side of the studio facilities.

I just googled Jay Leno ratings and it said he was number 1 for the summer. Funny thing, it also said his viewer audience was 18-49. I don't know any college students that watch him. They all seem to watch Kimmel and Conan.

For the life of me, I've never known anyone who watches late-night. In high school a friend went into a little Conan phase, but other than that nada.

18-49 is quite a broad demographic, lol. yeah, the younger people seem to go for the alternatives to Leno.

The last Leno clip he did during the breakup phase of the machina tour was so awful and boring.. I hope this makes up for it. I doubt it though alt rock bands usually sound like crap on these shows..

Hope it goes well. It's a great song.

how do you gather that? he seemed pretty into it flashing "rock on" hand gestures at the end of the song, had alternate lyrics, the crowd was loving it.

Had to look that one up

Definitely agree with Belte. I've seen a few meh performances; imo, this was not one of them.

I want that Machina II LP Jay's holding, and the BC action figure though. I would even brave seeing Jay in person to get them, although his chin totally creeps me out. I just can't stop thinking of those awful 80's McDonalds Mac tonight commercials. *shudders*
Now that I think of it, it's kinda creepy how the moon guy looks like Jay (to me at least), and is singing about Tonight- it was like some sort of McPremonition or something.
