My favorite is from Today all the way to Luna. Second favorite would probably be the entire Tonight Tonight EP. What is your favorite flow of songs in a SP release?

I'm gonna cop out and list a few.

Gish: THE WHOLE THING esp Crush > Suffer > Snail
SD: Soma > Geek USA > Mayonaise > Spaceboy
MCIS: Galapogos > Muzzle > Porcelina
TAFH: Rotten Apples> Jupiter's Lament > Medellia of the Gray Skies > Blank > Tonite Reprise
Adore: Behold! The Night Mare > For Martha > Blank Page
Oceania: Pinwheels > Oceania > Pale Horse

SD is easily the best one.

Gish: I am one - Daydream
Siamese Dream: Cherub Rock - Luna
Mellon Collie: Mellon Collie - Farewell and Goodnight
Oceania: Quasar - Wildflower
Adore: To Sheila - 17

See what I did there? Don't think I need to carry on...

I've always loved Beautiful - Farewell and Goodnight on MCIS. Nice way to drop off and fade out after XYU. I know some people really cant get into that last stretch though.

Unless you really believe there isn't a weak song on each of those SP albums, you didn't say much.

Siva - Rhinoceros - Bury Me

Today -> Mayonaise

Soothe -> Spaced (PI is too good)

Cupid De Locke -> Take Me Down

To Shiela -> 17 (Adore is also too good)

SIYL - I of the Mourning - The Sacred and Profane - Try, Try, Try /and then/ GATGC - Wound - CTOM

Cash Car Star -> White Spyder

Doomsday Clock -> Neverlost

Quasar -> Pinwheels /and then/ Pale Horse -> Wildflower

AS you can see, I find the albums really consistant :jackyl:/>

I think the first three songs on Oceania might be the best, I don't know, but that's probably my fav streak (not really a streak w/ just 3 songs though).

Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness

Could not agree more. Best song sequence in Pumpkins history, and in my top 5 of all albums.

Adore:

Shame --> Behold! The Nightmare --> For Martha --> Blank Page

MACHINA I:

The Imploding Voice --> Glass and the Ghost Children --> Wound

MACHINA II:

Glass' Theme --> Cash Car Star --> Dross and/or Home--> Blue Skies Bring Tears (Version Electrique)--> White Spyder

Zeitgeist:

Not a particular sequence I like. Not saying I dislike Zeitgeist as so many do, but this Smashing Pumpkins album is the most guilty of, in my opinion, not having a real thought out track listing. I guess I enjoy "That's the Way" into "Tarantula" but those have more to do with me liking the songs and not necessarily the order, if that makes sense.

Teargarden by Kaleidyscope: SO ingrained to hearing these songs individually thanks to the release method that I cannot really think of a segment I like (I own the EPs but rarely listen to them in that order).

Oceania:

Panopticon --> The Celestials --> Violet Rays and/or Pale Horse --> The Chimera --> Glissandra

I just feel the dynamic between those songs ends well with the noise at the end of Silverfuck. The build ups and breakdowns... It's an amazing sequence.

Disarm>Silverfuck (Spaceboy almost cuts that streak at Mayo)

or

Galapogos>Porcelina (could have been Zero>Porcelina if not for Cupid de Locke, or even Bodies>XYY if not for Tales of a Scorched Earth).

Will just do my two favourite albums.

MCIS 1: MCIS through to BWBW, and then Cupid De Locke up til Porcelina
MCIS 2: Can listen to most of this straight through easily, Where Boys Fear To Tread ending with XYU
Siamese Dream: Rocket through to the end of Mayonaise

I love that Quiet comes after Cherub Rock. It takes over exactly where it's supposed to.

Mellon Collie:
Disc 1:
MCIS through to Bullet
Disc 2:
33 to Ruby

Adore:
Sheila>Ava>Perfect

Machina1:
A lot of breaks for me in this album..
Try>Heavy Metal Machine, probably.

Machina 2:
Same with this.
Glass>Cash Car Star

Mary Star:

FutureEmbrace:
Now to Walking Shade

Zeit:
7 Shades to Tarantula

Teargarden (first 10 tracks in order according to wiki page):

(outro to spaceboy)--silverfuck--sweet sweet--luna

cupid de locke--galapagos--muzzle--porcelina of the vast oceans

shame--behold! the night mare--for martha

this time--the imploding voice--glass and the ghost children--wound

and I have to say, virtually the entirety of MSOTS.

I restricted this to four-song sequences, because otherwise when there are no rules things get crazy (like in the above answers)

I'm also not doing one for every album. I'm picking my top five "sequences"

1. Rocket-->Disarm-->Soma-->Geek USA

2. Soothe-->Frail and Bedazzled-->Plume-->Whir

3. Cherub Rock-->Quiet-->Today-->Hummer

3.I Am One-->Siva-->Rhinoceros-->Bury Me

5. Beautiful-->Lily-->By Starlight-->Farewell

I love Oceania. I have always liked the entire Adore album. But Oceania is a new fav. And the headlining song(Oceania) makes me feel like someone understands what it is like to want and need to be loved. But distances themselves from functional relationships. The song nails the feelings I have, but have a hard time expressing. Thank you to Billy for putting the words out into the void. They have been heard and used for good. We are not alone.

Changed my opinions a lot since I posted the first time in here, so I'll re-do mine.
Gish:
I Am One>Siva>Rhinoceros
Siamese:
The whole thing.
Mellon Collie:
Disc 1: MCIS through to Fuck You (although I love Galapagos into Muzzle into Porcelina, too)
Disc 2: Bodies to Ruby
Adore:
To Sheila>Ava Adore>Perfect
Machina1:.
Everlasting Gaze through to Wound.
Machina 2:
Glass' Theme through to LMGTWTY
Mary Star:
Lyric through to Of A Broken Heart
FutureEmbrace:
Either All Things Change through to ToLoveSomebody or Now (And Then) through to Walking Shade
Zeit:
Doomsday Clock through to Tarantula
Teargarden (first 10 tracks in order according to wiki page):
Widow Wake My Mind>A Stitch In Time>Fellowship>Freak>Tom Tom
Oceania:
Panopticon through to Chimera

My favourite overall right now is the ones I wrote for either Siamese or Machina1. Can't pick.

Cutting songs is hard! There aren't many SP songs that aren't at least an 8-9/10 to me
