Since G.L.O.W. is tweaked from "Zoom", do you think more Pastichio Medley riffs will emerge as full songs? I could swear some of them other than Zoom already have been. Am I correct?

I hope not, if they turn out like G.L.O.W.

I'd rather hear the original songs in full.

This.

And I believe some people say a song from the Gravity Demos, while not technically in the P. Medley, was reworked into "Endless Summer". I don't really hear it, but that's what some say...

Speaking of Gravity Demos, The Groover that appears on the Gravity Demos differs to that which appears on the Medley.

In that it sucks.

While the 40 second clip that appears on the Medley is succulent.

its not a belief, its fact. its the same chord progression. A/Ab/E/B/F# is the Endless Summer chorus and intro riff.

just like the bridge in For Martha is the full band version of Wishing You Were.

also, THE VIPER for the win. thumbsup.gif

He's intense in that video, like he really is into it and wants to make it right. We can still see that look on his face when he plays.

Hmm... guess I'll have to listen to that again . And yes, forgot all about the Wishing You Were>For Martha. And I pray to God he leaves the Viper alone for future songs and just releases ANY and ALL 1994-1996 era recordings of it. Fucking KICK ASS song.

some of the riffs might be cool to be in new songs
but the way billy writes now isnt how he used to.. his writing style has changes too much for it to be like it would have been.

if the original demos were released, it'd be cool, but they probably werent complete songs or even complete sections, just recordings of jams or of music billy created to use for inspiration

Does anyone think Jimmy was serious when he said Robot Lover was a full, actual song?

You're probably right. Come to think of it, I don't even remember where I heard it was. But, I do admit, they sound pretty similar.

This is what we need. Of course, I'm perfectly content with Billy just looping that one Rubberman audioclip over and over aagain nd calling it a song. I don't even need it to be reworked. I just want new material.

It was pretty well noticed by SP fans. It's mentioned on the Wikipedia page for the song, and the Media Militia even wrote an article about it.

You might want to attend to the disclaimer that was posted on that article:
"Disclaimer: This article presents speculation concerning a possible genesis of the newest SP single, G.L.O.W. It should not be construed in any way shape or form as an official statement by the band concerning the writing/recording/production process of G.L.O.W. At best, it is a response to some fan speculation with the intention of respecting and defending the Smashing Pumpkins' artistic right to utilize their musical ideas however they wish.

There's a reason why the disclaimer was added after the article was published. So again, Zoom and GLOW's similarities are purely coincidental.
