    I like the way Billy defended and explained why he kept with the moniker of Smashing Pumpkins...It's true what Billy said about how some out there only view success by how many records one sells... I think the success of SP comes from Billy's artistic vision, lyrics, and drive to not be like the rest...

    why I love this band so much ♥

    this thread really brought back some memories for me...lol

    I was told by someone a few yrs back that they thought that was Veronica in the background of the "That's the way video" I am not going to say for certain it is, but it does look like her...and if so, it does seem she did know the band to some extent...I am not sure I believe all she claims, but Billy does seem to help people out, and have a lot of acquaintances...so her being in a Pumpkins video or having been seen around the band does not surprise me...
