I think your idea, IMO, is farther removed from the original. If you'd have asked me how many bonus discs we'd be getting with Mellon Collie, I'd have told you no more than two. Not only were there 3, there were 3 with 20 tracks a piece! I didn't even know there was that much stuff to be heard for Mellon Collie.
So with that in mind, just how much stuff do you think there's gonna be for AFH (honestly, it'll probably also include the TEITBITE and Eye and stuff like that). If he does in fact decide to consolidate the 5 singles to 2 discs, you've gotta imagine that there's AT LEAST enough stuff to pull together 2 bonus discs.

Although, I will be the first to admit that if there was ever gonna be an album that could be popular enough to put 3 extra discs of material on, it'd be Mellon Collie. And AFH may not have that kind of purchasing power. I don't think it was even as successful as PI was it?

i'm sure there's enough stuff from the Mellon Collie era to fill 20 CDs, and TAFH is all part of that era...

ill probably never learn how to play stumblinje i dont have patientence to learn how to finger pick ?????? what do you call it? :scatch:/>/>/>

you really don't need to fingerpick the whole thing, it's really easy to use a pick & use your 2nd (middle) finger for just a couple of the high notes... quite simple, really; you should try harder if you really want to learn...

don't understand the 28 song limit. i could certainly fit more than that on 2 discs... but i'll play by the rules. also, ordinarily i would go thru the trouble of arranging this list in my preferred listening order, but for now i'll contribute my selections & perhaps edit the post later...

Enough of it dude. If you're so fucking unhappy then don't fucking buy it. There's still the Aeroplane box set coming out which will also not have any of the stupid shit you want on it. You are why the world hates Smashing Pumpkins fans. Did you ever consider that they didn't put this together for you only? I've heard the leak and think it sounds great. Listen to your shitty demos if it's so fucking hip for you to hate everything else.

touchy man is touchy this morning.

wasn't aware "the world hates Smashing Pumpkins fans," but if not for discussing the band & its music, how else would we be identified?

wow, i'd never seen that LP tracklisting before. i'm definitely going to have to listen to it that way some time, although i already know i'm going to prefer the CD version. still interesting, though...
