I got in line about 3:30 (my friend was already waiting there). We were the ones who asked about the door situation--I dunno if anyone remembers us :p/> But anyway, I saw the Pumpkins at ISU in '07 and the Riv last year, and this was by far the best of those three shows. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed hearing Oceania straight through. I love the album, but I was kind of wary of hearing it live. But it was really beautiful with the projections. I lost it during "XYU." I knew it was coming because I creeped on previous set lists, but there's no way I could have prepared myself for how awesome that was. Same with "Ava Adore." Billy was clearly so happy the entire night, and when he sang "Tonight, Tonight," I felt like he was singing it right to me (What I mean is, he was full of sincerity I hadn't seen before--I'm not actually THAT naive :p/>).
And "Mayonaise" nearly made me cry. I remember at one point during the Oceania set thinking, "Man, what I wouldn't give to hear 'Mayo' tonight... Oh well." And then it happened, and I couldn't believe it.
I'm still just ecstatic about the whole experience. I'd really like a boot... Does anyone know if someone was recording audio of the show?
