It goes from a very 'majorly' feel into something sorrowful, almost a Spanish feel. I don't know how the heck I did that, but it's one of my favorite things in the song, how you can keep the key but change the emotion."
Where does this key change occur? I don't even notice it.
he didn't say anything about a "key change." "going from Dmaj to Amin" is simply a movement from one chord to another. that said, the song isn't on Amin for very long and i too am a bit confused as to what bc is describing. -

Why is that? I still think Gish is one of their best albums. It was the perfect debut album.
How can you be a Pumpkins fan and not like high distorted classic shredding form I am One, or the crazy solos and riffs from Siva and Rhinoseros? The riff/ chorus/ second solo of Bury Me. Crush anyone? Tristessa sounds like something that could've been on Siamese Dream with an unforgettable vocals, riff, chorus, BRIDGE and solo for gods sake! lol
If your a big Pumpkins fan and you don't like Gish then chances are you haven't given it a decent try.
Anyway your thoughts?
it's a terrific record. it's just not as good as the 4 that came after. not close. well, maybe close to adore. -

Post 2000 were even rare. No Zeitgeist, one Zwan.
A couple ?'s for some of the other long time fans.
1. Did the original Adore vinyl have the red dress on the front, or did it look like the cd?
2. Why aren't the reissues numbered like the older vinyls?
3. What are everyone's thoughts on the reissue of MCIS? Is it going to be an expensive item someday like the original? (the original clearly being worth more)
Also any ideas besides ebay to find Pumpkins vinyls???
and zeitgeist doesn't exist on vinyl, nor does tfe. msots tends to be expensive. -

original adore was red dress.
reissues aren't rarities/ltd. ed. releases and therefore are never numbered.
none of the reissues are going to be rare, but i imagine mcis will be more expensive than the others, just logically speaking.
i have seen lots of gish and sd's on ebay for pretty cheap.
