I appreciate your insight. Your response has reaffirmed my belief in the Bible. The Bible speaks of those lost as seeing God as "foolishness" and your response speaks to that truth. It also speaks of it offending the lost, which seems to be exactly what it does to you. If you want more comfort in your position, I recommend reading Romans.

So religion is the cause of all wars? Or power and land hungry men who use whatever justification they can grab? Didn't Marx speak of the commonwealth not having religion? How did that work out for Russia? Doesn't China ban religion and at the same time have the world's largest army?
