After this album came out I wished i was a pisces. LOL. I see alot of love for Starla but for me the gem is Obscured. There is subtle but cosmic guitar plucking right as the 2nd verse starts that could melt your heart and your mind. The lyrics could mean anything and the song just flows like a river. If I was to make a list of all the times that Billy achieves vocal perfection this song would definately be on the list. The acoustic version is almost as good with its alternative lyrics but the bass is what keeps me coming back to the studio recording. The 2nd runner up would be "Blue" because of the transition. To me the Pumpkins are prety much the masters of transition. When Blue gets done being a fast song it slows down to a crawl with some godly guitars very similar to the Geek USA intermission/transition. The lyrics are just too sweet. Hearing the actual love that is in that song reminds me of how beautiful love can be.(BTW if you are a fan of these slow transition pieces there is an entire song they did LIVE called "Offer Up" that will fulfill your needs. I believe you can DL here i the Audio section under 1992 Paris

Whir is as lovely as an alternative country song can be. "She says she wants to marry me, She says she wants a baby, Its not easy when youre scared." If anyone from the band ever does read this I just want to say Thank You from the bottom of my heart for sharing this with me and the world.
