I just wanted to say that I hope you are doing well (I hear that you have been in some pain). It's nice to see you back. I remember long ago when you were almost kicked out of the band (not to bring back bad memories)-- I went in the bathroom and cried my eyes out. It's funny to think of things like that. When so young it is easy to get emotional about people you don't even know, and for some reason or another I attached myself to you.
Anyway, congrats on the Modern Drummer cover, you certainly deserve it. I think that you are one of very few drummers who contribute to the melody of the music. I was closely listening to Zeitgeist today and i was just so happy to hear how your instrument is incorporated...The Smashing Pumpkins could not exist without you, your style of drumming is one of the defining characteristics of the band, and I am so happy to see you there again.
