My musical soul was born the first time I heard the Smashing Pumpkins in 1993. I was young, eager, and impressionable. (I'm sure like many who find themselves here.) Born into a very traditional, but cultured musical family, I immediately felt drawn to Billy's lyrics, melodies, and strumming emotion. This band was something more progressive than I could appreciate at that time. It was grand! I thought and felt more deeply and grew into a lady highly influenced by the pumpkin power. I never thought I would associate so many life events, or life time friends with this band. I never thought we would have gotten this far. These people. These children. These historians. The Smashing Pumpkins have always been, and will always be. A remarkable life investment it has been. And, now, a young professional...still rocking the originals, the B sides...the blissful gratitude I have goes on.
