it's all about the music. seriously...if the music wasn't so damn great, i wouldn't be a fan.

their music has helped me through tough times in life, especially during my rough adolescent years in the early and mid 90's. everyone has hard times from time to time, but it's how you get through those difficult times that makes you who you are today. whatever i was feeling, i could put in a smashing pumpkins cd and feel better, more grounded, more secure with myself and with this very confusing so-called life.

i've been listening the the Pumpkins since they were releasing their initial albums...since Gish, i have been an avid Pumpkins addict...waiting in line at midnight for the release of Siamese Dream, Pisces Iscariot, Mellon Collie, Adore, and Machina...plus waiting in line OVERNIGHT for 13 hours for Atlanta tickets back in 2000...nothing can hold me back!

i'm very lucky and was able to see them 4 times on their Zeitgeist tour in late 2007 and once on the August 2008 tour. i've seen them 12 times overall...still nowhere near enough!

some things will just never change.
