The Smashing Pumpkins are an incredible band. They are pretty much everything I want a rock band to be.
They experiment with sound and have matured a great deal since Gish; although I still think the old stuff is just as good as Zeitgeist.
No matter how hard I try I cannot choose one favorite album; I'll say Adore and regret it, then Gish, then Siamese Dream, etc.
The music and vocals are so emotionally powered sometimes it's amazing. The first time I sat down and listened to Tonight, Tonight I listened to it like 20 times until I was about to break down.
The lyrics can sometimes speak my feelings and that really helped when I was going through tough times.
And no matter what kind of negative mood I'm in, they can always turn it right back around.


Oh and I've probably listened to Zero 10 billion times already and I still fckn love it.
