I was 11 when I saw the Bullet with Butterfly wings music video for the first time. At first, I was slightly baffled but the band and the video with the silver pants, muddy people and the butterfly, stuck in my mind. I heard the band mentioned once in a while, here and there and I started to get really interested. Finally, the Ava Adore was released and it really hit me. I started collecting their albums (first Gish, then Mellon Collie and Siamese Dream..) and everything related to them (typical teenage behaviour ). In 2000, I got to see the band live!

Today, I've been a proud fan of Smashing Pumpkins already several years. They've always managed to make music that takes me to another place and time.
