The Smashing Pumpkins have not always been a favorite band of mine, I won't lie. I remember when I was young I bought a couple of their cassette tapes and I liked what I heard but thought they were not anything special. Then when I listened to melon collie and the infinite sadness, I was blown away. Then about a year back, I pulled it out and started cranking it up again and have just been a devoted fan ever since. Corgan expresses so much emotion and writes consistently good songs which you don't find nowadays. Ace performers all the way.
