The Pumpkins were the very first band I knew that played music with more than one layer/feeling in it. Almost all of the songs really really do something to me emotionally and their music means very much to me. I first saw/heard them at the 1994 Pinkpop festival on Dutch television when I was 13. Now I'm 28 (born 1979

and there almost hasn't been a day for me without the Pumpkins.
I can play and sing almost every song on my guitar and I have a song archive on minidisc with over 500 different songs recorded, played, performed by the Pumpkins or Billy alone. Even the ultimate rare ones!
My favorite songs to play are Stumbleine, Laugh, Vanilla, A Trip Unto Bountiful, Thirty-Three, Soothe, Lover (One Less Moment), Jennifer Ever, Believe, Bleed, Take Me Down, Cupid de Locke, Egg, Glass and the Ghost Children, I of The Mourning, Jupiter's Lament, Lily (My One and Only), Not Worth Asking, Whir, She, Sparrow, There it Goes, To Forgive, To Sheila, 1979.
I guess the main reason for me for still being a huge fan since 1994, is that the Pumpkins keep touching me every day. With old songs, new songs and the feeling that they bring up.
Their songs are like a summary of myself and I still don't know how they manage to pull that off...
