saying kurt got popular cuz of his death is kind of stupid considering he was a part of the most successful rockband of the era before he died... i started with nirvana and then i started liking the pumpkins.. i find the pumpkins music to have more depth but i also find joy in the simplicity. of nirvana.. just because you put 28353925739485 layers of feedback on a song doesent make it good... corgan is obviously a better guitar player... i put them even on lyrics im sorry but in utero has some amazing lyrics... and kurt most deffinately could sing and if you think his voice sucks what do you think of corgans????? the only reason corgan even sounds decent on record is cuz his voice is drowned out with distortion and hes got an assload of effects on his voice.... ie ALL OF SIAMESE DREAM... not that i dont find his voice beautiful but tonally speaking his voice is not the greatest thing in the world.. yeah thats my OPINION...
