I am glad that you recognized the Syd Barrett username. I love all incarnations of Pink Floyd, but have always thought that the band lost something special when Syd left. It would be like if Billy Corgan left Smashing Pumpkins...

I have never heard that particular story about him, but I do not doubt it for a second. Syd, sadly, took way too many drugs and we lost him way too early.
