May 08, 2008 - Zwan, The Future Embrace and Zeitgeist

personally i think that Zeitgeist is a blend of Zwan and T.F.E - probably just the natural progression of the songwriting.

i love both mary star and future embrace, but i prefer the future embrace because it is beautiful and i really thought billy had found a new artistic path for his middle age, anyway!

which do you prefer: zwan or T.F.E.?

Wow guys to even consider tfe to be anywhere near as good as mary star wow.

TFE was the most hapharzadly assembled piece of shit the mans ever put out. Thiers maybe 3 good songs on the entire thing.

Zeitgeist is half a good album at best, as is Zwan.

The Future Embrace only has 1 bad track on it. A brilliant album.

I loved Zwan. I always thought that Zwan would have been huge if they had have released the songs from the MSOT DVD on cd. To Love You, My Life & Times, Love Lies in Ruins, For Your Love & Consumed, all briliant, but my absolute favourite is Danger Boy. I hope and prayer that one day I can get my hands on the studio recordings of the DVD, that would be better than any Christmas present possible.

I don't know anyone disses"the future embrace".My favorite album by far of Billy's .Even out all the albums with SP.He put his whole heart into TFE.You can hear it with every note he sung on the album.The walking shade video is a creative master piece.Love the vid.I also did like some of the music of ZWAN's also.

TheFuturEmbrace was the best thing BC did since Adore.
I think Zwan was a big piece of crap, and Zeitgeist is just "ok"... but it is so far from a classic Smashing Pumpkins album. Forgive me, Billy, but I really don't believe that ONLY you and JC were responsable by "ninety-seven percent" of the performances on every Pumpkins album.
