The Smashing Pumpkins concert at The Backyard this Friday, November 2 has been rescheduled for Tuesday, November 13. Tickets will be honored at the door on November 13. For refunds, please contact GetTix 1-866-443-8849. Refunds will be granted until January 31, 2008.

The Pumpkins re-scedualed the Dallas show from Nov. 3 to to Nov 18. so I am thinking that the Austin show will probably be re-scedualed as well.Just look on the web-site for the venue that they are suppose to play at. It sucks that they have to re-scedual but the last time that this happend with a Pumpkin show (1996) they made up for it by playing for over 3 hours vs the usual hour and a half show.That being said, just because they have to post-pone a show doesn't always mean that is it is a bad thing for the fans.I personally don't mind having to wait an extra 2 weeks to see them because it will be worth them playing longer.

I talked to a sales rep at the Ryman, and there is no official word yet on the show. They were well aware of the situation, and she used the word refund instead of reschedule. I have a bad feeling they aren't going to make up the show should they miss it.

how much more info is needed? obviously you got the message about the show being cancelled due to illness. i'm sure when you get stood up by dates (which i'm assuming is quite often), you're the person sending 100 texts and calling every ten seconds. get over it dude. they'll play when they play.
